Chapter 2

Dad made a plan where him and Glenn cover themselves in walker guts and run out.

So that's what they did.
"Be careful." I said almost hugging my dad but then I realized he was covered in guts.
"We will." Glenn said as they walked out.
We watched as Dad and Glenn walked to the gates.

It was going smoothly until it started to rain.
"They aren't going to make it." I said.
"Yes they are." T-Dog arugued.
"No they aren't it's raining it will wash the stench right off of them and they will die." I said, my eyes starting to tear up.

"They are almost there." Jacqui interrupted.
I got up and watched just as the walkers started attacking.

"NO" I screamed as my dad an Glenn climbed over the fence to safety.

They got into a van. But Glenn got out. "They are leaving us." Andreas voice squeaked.
"No, they will come back." I said.

"C'mon". They all followed. T-dog was left up there trying to release Merle when we left.

Morales lead the way as we walked to the garage type thing.
But we watched as the glass broke and walkers started pouring into the room.
"GO!" I yelled.
We all ran down the steps and the door opened.

We all hopped into the truck and rode in silence until Andrea broke it.
"Where's Glenn?" He asked.
Dad just laughed.
"He's fine."

We pulled up a few minutes after Glenn had to the site.

I waited as everyone else piled out.

"Where's my daughter, is she alright?!" Mom yelled.

I climbed out and hugged her and Carl.
"We thought you guys were gone." Dale said
"How did you guys even escape?" Shane asked.
"New guy, he saved our ass's." Morales said.

"Hey Helicopter boy. C'mere." Morales yelled.
I watched as mom pulled Carl aside to talk to him.

I followed.
"Mom, not to interrupt but look." I said pointing to dad.

Dad looked around and Carl ran away from mom.
"DAD!!" He screamed running up to him and engulfing him in a hug.
Mom then ran up to him and hugged him too.
I smiled as everyone else did to.
I walked up and hugged him.

After we released we all sat down and started talking.
"So uh I'm an idiot." Dad said and I chuckled a bit.

"No, if you were someone else yes but. No." I said and dad laughed.
"Whatever you say." he said.
