Lizzie looked at her new friend, the stranger who had been swept to her kingdom by the storm.
She didn't know what to make of him.
If anything, this boy seemed rather sick.
She was worried that she just couldn't tell if he was really sick or not due to the fact he was a human.
He seemed... dazed.
Confused.
Not entirely there.
Of course, this was understandable, but this boy was also extremely forgetful.
She worried he suffered from head trauma, and she couldn't tell.
"Hey... do you want to try and visit another empire?"
Karl, the boy, looked up, eyebrows arched. "Another empire?"
"Well," Lizzie admitted, "I want to make sure you're ok, and I know an empire ruler who is kind of the healer here. She's nice."
Lizzie didn't actually know Gem that well, but she wanted to reassure the boy's nerves.
Karl blinked.
"What year is it?"
