Nat would braid Y/n's hair which caused Y/n to get confused at her mother's actions.She would literally come out of nowhere and braid it.The conversation would go something like...:
"MOM,that hurts.Your pulling my hair!"Y/n said in annoyance.
"Oh don't be so dramatic Y/n.I'm just braiding it."
When she comes back from a mission:
"MOMMY!"
"Y/N!."She would yell back holding out her arms for a hug.She would totally match your energy.
When your watching tv:
"This show sucks."
"It does doesn't it?"She would ask."Come on.Let's play a board game instead."
When your struggling with homework:
"This doesn't make any sense.AHHGGGG!"You'd hit your head off the table in annoyance.
She would laugh at you then walk over to sit beside you.She'd rub your arm comfortingly which would cause you to look up at her.
"Come on.I'll help you.After this we can go practise throwing knives and use Bucky as the target!"She would say which caused you to immediately start writing again.
When you hurt yourself:
You would probably be playing with knives and throwing them at targets.You would slip and cut your hand, yelling out a Yelp of pain.
She would of course run so freaking fast like Usain Bolt into the room and kneel down beside you.After seeing your hand she'd run to the first aid cupboard and wrap it up carefully.
She'd kiss your head after she finished wrapping your hand then lift you up with your other hand.
Then she'd say,
"Come on now Y/n.How many times am I going to have to tell you to be carful with these knives."
Of course that would make you a bit sad but then she'd say.
"Now let's throw them the proper way."
When your eating dinner and you hate vegetables:
"Y/n eat your veggies!"
"No."
"Y/n!"
"No."
She'd think for a moment before saying.
"Fine I guess then you'll never train with me and Steve again."
You would eat those vegetables so fast that she'd scold you for not chewing.
When you'd swear:
"I hate that bitch from school."
"HEY!"She'd yell causing you and everyone at the table to jump in fear.
"Watch your language young lady!"
When you fall asleep on the couch:
She would come home from a trading session with a Steve and fin you asleep,sprawled all over the couch beside Peter.
She chuckled and then lift you up gently.
"Come on now.Time for bed."
When you lose something:
She'd say.
"Lost things always have a way of turning up."
You'd look at her weird then she'd say.
"Sometimes they show up in two minutes and sometimes five years."
Then finally when you cry:
"Y/N,you need to stop being so irresponsible.I mean you could've gotten hurt.WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?"She would yell.
You'd just stand there with your head hung low in shame.When you didn't respond she would walk over and place a hand on your shoulder.
"Hey.I'm sorry for yelling.I just don't want to lose you."
You would hug her straight away as tears fell from both of your eyes.
"I'm sorry mom.I won't do it again."
"I know hun.Now let's go watch a movie."
