5 weeks later,

Peter sat in his usual math class with a pen in his hand. One hand on his chin as the teacher dragged on.

He looked back at the clock until it finally hit 4.His body took off before his teacher could say a word.

Out the door and down the hallway to his locker. As he fumbled to open the door,Ned ran up to him.

"Hey Peter do you think we can hang out later? It's just that I've got this new Lego set and you've......well you've probably got the Stark internship or something and I..."Ned rambled as Peter shoved some more books away, then slammed his locker door.Ned looked baffled as he watched his friend."Peter, are you okay?"

"Yes Ned I'm fine."Peter said."Just got to head home Ya know. It's Mays birthday and I want everything to be perfect."

Ned nodded slowly."Ah I see.Tell May I said happy birthday!"He said walking away.Peter watched him leave then took a breath before dashing out the door again.

He was going to pick up a sandwich from Delmars then head to that really expensive jewellery shop then home. That was his goal.

As he walked off the subway, he glanced around at the different people before turning some music on on his earphones. He nodded his head to the beats as he typed into the message box.

Me:
Hey May I'll be home soon.
Just got to do some things for um someone.

He mentally cursed his crappy excuse but he needed time to pick up the presents.

Peter skipped down the walkway until he reached Delmars and gently opened the door.Mr Delmar stood with a smile and leaned against the counter.

"Hey Pete.Your usual?"He asked.Peter nodded then stopped him.

"Actually can you make two?"He took some money out of his pocket.

"Two pickle sandwiches coming right up."Mr Delmar yelled out the back."So how's your aunt?"

"She's fine.Um it's her birthday today so...."

"Ahh.Happy birthday to her.Is it not someone else's special day?"Mr Delmar asked.Peter looked confused before furrowing his eyebrows at Mr Delmar.

"Ummm...."

"Oh crap I'm sorry kid. It's hard to remember these things with me being so old and all.Um I'm trying to keep up with you kids."

Peter looked to the side up at the tv where a remembering birthday service was being held. His eyes landed on the name at the bottom.Mr Delmar looked up to.

"Such a shame. She was a real nice girl."He shook his head.Peter nodded."Sorry Pete.I know how close you two were."

"It's alright. It's gonna be hard May said."Peter fumbled with the hem of his shirt.

"Two sandwiches.Pickle!"A voice yelled from the back.Mr Delmar smiled.

"Gracias."He nodded."Here ya go Peter.Have a good one."

"Wait...you don't want me to pay?"Peter asked.

"No no.This ones on me."Mr Delmar smiled.

"Thanks sir.I'll um see you later."Peter said walking to the door.

"Bye Pete"

Peter smiled down at the sandwiches and began walking to the jewellers. His mind went to Y/n and the thought of her family celebrating today. He shook his head before too much thoughts crowded his head, distracting him.

He walked into the jewellers and spotted the worker. He smiled as the man walked over.

"Can I help you Sir?"
