HAYDEN

We all sat at the breakfast table, dad looks annoyed to see Piper here.

He told me Brittany is visiting today and I should pay attention to her and not others...I know he meant Piper.

Piper and Mom both seem annoyed by Brittany's plan. While dad is overly excited.

Jacob is out of the coverage area. He ain't at home, nor at hideout..his phone is off.

After having breakfast I ran straight to my room as I took shower getting ready to meet Brittany.

I don't know, what drama Brittany will bring today.

Piper and mom are leaving for their girl's day that is Shopping, Spa, and Gossips, to avoid Brittany.

Dad left for the office. I'm left alone with her now, and for some reason, my gut feeling is making me feel that something is wrong. I know it's just a symptom of my overthinking, so I decided to push it away.

What are we gonna do? Watch movie? Talk? Go out somewhere.

15 minutes later, the bell rang.

I open the door, Brittany stood there in her white puff sleeve crop top and blue denim jeans. With black pointy heels.

"Haydeeeen" she hugged me as soon as saw me

"Haydeeeen" she hugged me as soon as saw me. "God, I missed you so much" she said tightening her arms around my neck.

I patted her back. "Hi, Brittany" I greeted as I let her walk in.

"Wow, your house looks super cozy and pretty" she said taking a look at it.

"Yeah, all credits to my mum. She pays attention to the smallest detail" I said.

"You're so cute when you talk about your mom, it's visible on your face how much you adore her." She said smiling, I smiled back at her.

"I want to see how you would look when you talk about your girlfriend." She blushed.

"That's not gonna happen anytime soon." I replied chuckling as I take a seat on the sofa.

She sat next to me. As I kept her bag on the coffee table.
