HAYDEN

I rushed home, dash opening my door.

"What happened?" I asked my mom.

"Son, I'm glad you're on time we are going for dinner with Houston's." Dad said walking downstairs.

I glanced at mom and she just nodded.

I'm in no mood to see Brittany or Max. Nor anyone. I don't want to be in human contact.

"I just had dinner with some friends, you guys can carry on." I said as I  walked upstairs.

"You need to go with us, it's important to me, for our family."

"But-"

"Hayden"

"Gosh, but I'm not gonna pretend I'm enjoying this little forceful dinner party" I rolled my eyes harder.

"Have dessert" he said.

I drove us three to Houston's Mansion.

"Haydennnnnn" Brittany ran towards us taking me in a hug.

See this is why I didn't want to be here.

Charlotte and Max followed her greeting us.

"We are so happy to have you all here tonight." Charlotte greet as we walked in.

Their house is pretty modern. And organized. It literally looks like a villa.

We all sat at the dining table. Brittany sat next to me, not leaving a chance to make me feel uncomfortable.

"It's so good to have you back here Hayden, it's been forever." Charlotte said smiling.

I don't remember ever being here? That means I really have some issues.

I just nodded as I finish my Chocolate Pistachio Dome. Its delicious.

"So...how about we have sleepover here?" Brittany said excitedly.

You wish.

"No, thanks. I can't sleep anywhere but my house." I let her now.

Her smiled turned into a frown but she didn't insist.

Once we were done with dinner all the parents went towards the study room leaving me and Brittany behind.
