Omniscient narrator:

"Granny is doing better. She'll have to stay in the hospital for the remaining week just so the doctors can keep an eye on her." Amanda Cassano told her oldest sons.

They sat in Hector's office. They even worked on Christmas Day. Theo had put his phone on speaker so that their mother could tell them all about their grandmother's condition. They were happy to hear that she was doing better.

"Tell granny that we'll come to visit her as soon as we land in Italy." Theo told his mother.

"I'll tell her. She's very excited to meet Elena." She smiled.

Everybody in their family was. Most parts of the Cassano' family lived in Italy and they all had been so excited to finally meet Elena.

"Oh, I have to go now. Grandpa is being difficult with the nurses again. You know how he can be when it concerns granny." Their mother chuckled.

They all knew. Their grandfather was extremely overprotective over his wife. It was always amusing to see them interact.

"The plane leaves at one pm Friday. Please make sure the twins aren't late again." Hector asked Silas.

Every time that they went on a trip, the twins were terribly late. They always did their packing last minute and it was just a very stressful situation. So this time Hector let Silas take control of the situation.

He knows how to deal with those boys.

Hector's phone rang and he jumped out of his chair.

"Elena."

The slight tremble in his voice immediately put his brothers to action. She was in danger and they had to move fast.

When Hector looked up her location, he noticed that she was in Cecelia Legrand's street. She was going to visit her best friend for secret Santa.

"Send all our nearby units there immediately." He instructed Theo who did that immediately.

"What's going on?" Leonardo asked as they passed the living room.

"Stay in the house and look after each other." Silas instructed them.

Amelia and Victor were watching a movie together but they immediately noticed something was wrong. Nicolas just walked in carrying a bell of popcorn.

"It's about Elena. She's in danger, right?" Victor questioned.

The men didn't reply because they knew what could happen if they told him.

"We'll be back soon." Theo told his little siblings.

Hector was already out of the door. His heart was racing and he had trouble controlling his emotions. He was always level headed and in control but the thought of Elena in danger made him lose control.

He was going to rip those fucking Russians to pieces.

No more diplomatic approaches or tactics. He was going to use brute force.

"The location is changing." Theo informed his older brothers.

Hector was driving like a mad man while Silas was pulling out their entire arsenal of guns from the backseat. He handed Theo a few and strapped some up for himself. Hector was always loaded, even at him.

"They're going in the direction of the Petrov Manor."

Hector grabbed his phone and dialled his Capo's phone number.

"Don." Alexander replied.

"Get all your units to the Petrov Manor. Permission them to kill all those fuckers."

"Of course."

Alexander never asked questions and always did everything Hector asked him to. He did it very well.

"Keep Ronan Petrov and Maxim Petrov alive. I don't want them to die easily." Hector told his brothers as they drove into Brooklyn.

"What about Dimitri Petrov?" Silas questioned.

"Slaughter him like a pig."

Theo and Silas stared at their older brother. Hector was not the one to jump into a situation with violence. He used a more diplomatic approach. He was exceptionally good at psychological warfare. He could drive people to insanity but to use their weaknesses against them.

So this took them by surprise but they both knew very well that Elena was indeed his favourite.

And nobody who hurts his siblings gets to live another day.

////////////////

The Manor was filled with Russian soldiers all trying to protect their boss. Hector moved through them like air. He shot, kicked and ripped like an animal. He quickly made his way inside and his eyes fell on Dimitri Petrov.

The big boss.

Hector would've laughed if he wasn't fuming with rage. The old boss was hiding behind his wife, using her as a personal shield. The blond woman had about thirteen gunshots in her body and by the way that she was hanging limply, Hector knew that she was dead.

"W-w-we can talk this out, Cassano." He stuttered as Hector approached him.

Hector lifted him by his muscular neck and squeezed hard.

"Where the fuck is my baby sister?" He spat.

Dimitri coughed loudly and desperately pointed in the direction of a large wooden door.

"The basement. Ronan is there with her."

Panic tightened Hector's chest. He grabbed the man and threw him towards his men. Everybody wanted the honour of killing the big Russian mob boss. They jumped him like animals.

"Basement." Hector turned to his brothers.

They followed him as he kicked down the wooden door. They walked down the steps and entered an empty hallway. It stank of decomposing bodies and blood. Silas kicked open different doors since there were a lot.

The fact that their little sister was here brought back horrible memories of what happened to Victor.

Finally, he kicked down the right door. Ronan was repeatedly kicking Elena. Silas jumped on him and dragged him away from her only to start beating him up.

Hector ran to his little sister. She was beaten up severely and her pants were down to her ankles. His heart stopped as he softly called for her.

"Little one."

She was fighting hard to keep her eyes open.

"H-h-Hector?"

She sounded weak and like she was in a lot of pain. He softly helped her sit up and leaned her against his chest. His heart broke apart to see her like this. He failed her. He failed to protect her.

This was all his fault.

His head was just going ten thousand miles per hour. He had to get her away from her, she needed medical help ASAP. When he carried her out of that horror house, he looked at the situation in front of him.

His man had slaughtered almost all the Russian soldiers. There were a view survivors who'd get tortured. One of them was Maxim Petrov, the youngest son of Dimitri Petrov. He was yanked towards a large car by Alexander Ferrari.

Hector knew Alexander very well and that look he was wearing was pure darkness. He'll tear Maxim to pieces. All to avenge his little brother.

Their eyes met and at that moment they looked much alike. Two men prepared to let the word burn for their younger siblings.

"Ian died because of me."

Elena passed out after saying that. He wanted to tell her that I wasn't true. That if someone was to blame for all of this, then it was him.
