EUREKA'S POV

Senior Highschool is exhausting!

"Class dismissed!" the subject teacher declared.

Oh, thank goodness!

After our teacher dismissed the class, she walked out of the room. Nagsitayuan naman ang mga kaklase ko, saka sila pumunta sa kani-kanilang mga kaibigan. Ang ilan ay nakipagdaldalan. Napuno ng ingay ang buong silid.

As for me, I put my stuffs inside my bag and stood up. It's lunchtime, finally!

As I was walking down the hallway, may nakasalubong akong ilang mga estudyante na kakilala ko. They greet me and I smiled back.

After one and half year, finally, I overcame my antisocial syndrome. Ngayong second year na 'ko as senior high school, medyo open na 'ko sa social interaction. Though, I'm still the shy-type and introvert girl. Pero at least ngayon ay hindi na 'ko nao-awkward-an kapag may kumakaibigan sa akin.

Speaking of kaibigan, huminto ako sa gilid ng hallway upang sumilip sa pinto ng isang classroom. Aha! I spotted my target.

"Psst! Suzy!" 

I saw Suzy, my best girl friend, who's inside the room. She's carrying a pile of books while talking to her classmates. Busy siya sa pagkikipag-usap at mukhang 'di niya ako napansin.

So, I called her again, "Suz!"

Suzy finally noticed me. Nagpaalam siya sa kaniyang mga kaklase, saka naglakad palapit sa pinto, kung sa'n ako naghihintay.

"Busy day, are we?"  I asked and pointed at those books that she carries.

Ngumiwi si Suz at tila hindi nabibigatan sa mga librong dala n'ya.  "Super, girl! Grabe! Akalain mo 'yon? Tinambakan kami ng projects sa magkakasunod na subjects namin! Gosh!"

Napangisi ako sa kaniyang reaksyon. The same old and overreacting Suzy Morplex.

"At ito pa ang mas malala! I was chosen to be a leader for all of those group projects!"  sumbong n'ya.  "I mean, what the freaking cow?! I'm not a leader material. Ewan ko kung bakit ako ang pinili nila pero, girl, this is catastrophe!"

"Catastrophe talaga?" tawa ko.

"Oh, Eureka..."  Suzy rolled her eyes.  "Kung alam mo lang. Sobrang daming dumbbell sa mga ka-groupmates ko."

"Dumbbell?"

"Pabuhat!"  she spits with irritation.  "Nakaka-stress na nga, eh! This senior high is killing me!"

"Oh, really? Wala pang thesis n'yan," paalala ko.

Mas lalo tuloy siyang nainis.  "Dang! Oo nga! Goodness gracious! That bloody thesis!"
