We walked all the way to the magical house with little chatter.
"This can all go straight to the kitchen," Camilo said, leading the way. When we entered the house our eyes took in an overload of colourful and unique plants decorating every surface. Tables were placed to hold food and drinks for the party and the whole family was busying themselves, getting themselves and the house ready.
"There you are, it's nice to see you again," Abuela said, hugging my ma and kissing her cheeks as greeting.
"Hey, can we say hi to each other that way?" Camilo whispered beside me. I elbowed him.
