Krishna soon reached Virat kingdom. There he shared the incidents of the Shanti prastav with Pandavas and Draupadi. As per previous decision Pandavas sent a letter to their alliances stating that the war would surely happen and they should start their journey towards the land of kurukshetra with their respective armies. He sent a letter to Hastinapur officially inviting them for war at kurukshetra. Soon all the kings along with their armies gathered in kurukshetra. Pandavas have a total of 7 akshauni sena. Soon Kaurava's army also came along with their alliances on the other part of kurukshetra. Soon camp was set up. Karn, Daksh and Bhairavi too arrived along their army. They sent their children to Ayodhya as kids have no place to be in a terrible warzone. After Kauravas and their army got settled on the outskirts of kurukshetra, the Pandavas were called to attend the meeting regarding the rules and regulations of the war.

Karn was in his tent struggling with their own emotions. Karn was going to face the Kauravas whom he cared like his own younger brothers because he knew in one way or another they were his brothers. His cousins. He had a fear that if war happens then he will have to fight 5 of brothers. But now he may have to fight against his 99 brother and his best friend. How would he handle all these. Daksh could feel his father's emotions. He wanted to say his father a secret. But he doesn't know how to break his promise towards his kakashree Duryodhan. But seeing his father in his condition he was determined to reveal the truth to his father. So that at least he doesn't regret so much. He was not a man who would keep each and every promise he makes. Daksh knows how to break promises when it's necessary and now it's time.

Daksh: Pitashree.

Karn: Putra, I don't know how to face him again after so many years. He must be hating me. He knows that I have joined Pandavas. He must be thinking that I too support them wholeheartedly. Putra, I am stuck between two sets of my brother's. But what to do. I also have to perform my duty as a son.

Karn's eyes were beaming with tears. But he didn't let them fall.

Daksh: Pitashree, I want to say you something. Please listen to me until I stop.

Daksh paused for a second. And then narrated his meeting with Yuvraj Duryodhan that he had at the banks of Ganga when he went to Hastinapur 13 years ago. Karn was a little bit hurt that his son hid this truth from him for such a long time. If he knew this then he would have fought against his dearest best friend just to be with him. He was also hurt that duryodhan thought that their friendship was a burden on karn.

Daksh: So you see pitashree. He doesn't hate you. He just wants you to be free to support whoever you like. He also made me promise to never tell you all these ever. But I couldn't see you like this.

Karn: I have to meet him now putra. I need to talk to him. Maybe I can help him also with rest of my army. Or should I ask other kingdoms that I conquered once to help him and support him? I need to go to Kauravas camp now only.

Karna was blabbering everything without thinking anything. He was cursing the moment he thought to leave his friend. His friend must need him now but at this moment he couldn't even change sides.

Daksh: Pitashree calm down. The meeting is going to start in a while. We have to go to Kauravas camp. Please come.

Karn: I am coming. You go putra.

Daksh: No. You are coming with me. Right now.

Karn: Ok fine. Let's go.

Soon they reached the tent where the meeting is to be held regarding the rules and regulations of the war. All the warriors from both sides gathered there. As soon as Karn entered the tent along with his son he could feel the stares on him. Rather he should say angry glares in place of stares. Kaurava brothers were glaring at him. Dushasan couldn't digest the fact that Karn is here supporting the Pandavas.
