"Earth!" Cole shouted, landing a solid hit on the training dummy.

"Lightning!" Jay followed up, shocking the dummy with a burst of electricity.

"Ice!" Zane called, freezing the dummy in place.

"Good training. Your powers are getting stronger. But where's Kai?" I asked, peering around the training area.

Nya grabbed my arm, yanking me into the hallway, and the other ninja followed.

We turned the corner to find Kai in front of a mirror, clad in the Green Ninja gi, attempting to summon his powers. "Fire! Unlock Fire! Uh, Fire go! Shoot flames! Oh, come on. Everyone else can do it. So can you. Bring the heat!"

We all burst into a fit of laughter.

"Very nice. Perhaps if you tried the phrase 'Fire dork,' maybe it might work," Cole smirked, crossing his arms.

Kai removed the mask, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "How long have you all been watching?"

"The Green Ninja suit. That's awesome!" Jay blurted out, eyes wide with excitement.

"Well, I was looking for some kind of clue from Sensei and then I found this," Kai explained, holding the suit a little defensively.

"But you know only he who is foretold to face Lord Garmadon is destined to be the Green Ninja, and only he should wear the Green Ninja outfit. So Sensei would most likely be very—" Zane began, but Kai interrupted.

"I know, I know. But I thought if I just tried it on, it might help me see my True Potential. It's not fair that most of you guys have unlocked your cool powers and I still haven't. Besides, Sensei's gone, and we don't know when he's coming back—"

"Hello? I'm home," Sensei Wu's voice echoed through the halls.

"Sensei!" I yelled gleefully, fleeing the hallway and heading towards the deck.

Everyone rushed out to greet him.

"Ah. It's so good to be home," Sensei confided, a serene smile on his face.

"So glad you're back," I acknowledged, feeling a wave of relief.

"Did you bring us anything?" Cole questioned, half-jokingly.

"Oh, Sensei, have you missed a lot. Zane's a Nindroid, Nya's the mysterious Samurai, Cole's a dancer," Jay yammered, barely pausing for breath.

"Zane is a...what?" Sensei asked, clearly perplexed.

"You've been gone a while. We'll catch you up later. But you should know, all of us except for Kai and Y/n have discovered our True Potential," Zane notified, his tone factual.

"Well, you didn't have to say it like that," I remarked, giving Zane a light nudge.

"Have you now? Where is Kai?" Sensei implored, scanning the deck.

"Right here. So glad you're back safe," Kai emerged, now wearing his own gi. But before we could fully welcome Sensei back, a dark figure loomed behind him.

"Aah! Sensei, behind you!" Kai shouted, moving to attack the Dark Lord while Zane dove to guard Sensei.

Kai, determination etched on his face, charged with his sword, trying to land a strike. "This ends now, Garmadon!"
