I held the container of condensed evil in my hand, the familiar weight of it sending a shiver down my spine. The memories of what he became haunted me. The gate to a wing of Kryptarium Prison began to rise slowly, the heavy metal groaning in protest, making me feel like I was entering a lion's den.

"This is our new maximum-security wing. We spared no expense, I assure you," Noble's voice echoed in the vast hall. He was clearly proud of the facility, but I wasn't impressed. This place could hold the most dangerous criminals, but could it hold my father?

"Very wise," I said, my eyes scanning the security cameras above. Every move being watched. It felt strangely like being the one in prison instead of the one on the outside.

Noble chuckled, oblivious to the weight of my thoughts. "Yep. The entire wing was built for one purpose... to hold the rottenest egg of all." He flashed a smile, then walked off, leaving me to face the cold, empty darkness. "Well... good luck," he called over his shoulder. "See you on the way out."

"Aren't you going to—" I began, but the door slammed shut with a heavy thud, and the sound of laser scans filled the air.

I took a deep breath, stepping forward. "Stay?" The words barely left my mouth before I flipped a switch. A pathway suddenly zoomed out before me, unfolding like an intricate puzzle leading straight to my father's cell. I walked the path slowly, unsure of what to expect, the weight of my father's presence lurking in the shadows.

As I reached the edge and peered into the cell, I saw him—lounging on his bed, looking almost... relaxed? He threw a magazine onto the floor the moment he saw me, the smile creeping across his face.

"Hello, Father."

"Well, well," Garmadon's voice was laced with mock amusement. "If it isn't the Wind Ninja. To what do I owe the honor?" His eyes flickered with an unreadable emotion. He looked almost... too calm. His smile widened. "Your brother was just here, seemed very panicked. Worrying for you, no doubt."

"Lloyd can handle himself. And you sent for me, remember? You said it was urgent." I crossed my arms, my gaze not leaving his as I slowly clicked a button on the side of the cell. A small compartment slid open, and I tossed the container to the floor in front of him. "I also brought you something to eat."

Garmadon raised an eyebrow, glancing at the container before letting out a low, amused chuckle. "How kind," he remarked, his tone mocking. Then his smile widened further, almost as if he knew something I didn't. "And did I? Hmm. That doesn't sound like me." He turned away casually, as if nothing mattered, his indifference almost maddening. "I have all the time in the world in here."

I stared at him for a moment, feeling my temper flare. "Fine," I muttered, turning on my heel. "Then I guess I'll just—"

"Oh, yes," Garmadon interrupted, his voice suddenly sharp, cutting through the tension. He turned towards me with a slow, almost sinister grin, and I felt a shiver run down my spine. "I remember now. I did call you. Do you remember the last time we saw each other? What I said?"

My heart skipped a beat, the memory flashing in front of my eyes. "You said something was coming," I said, my voice steady despite the uncertainty creeping up inside me.

"Yes, but you didn't listen," he replied, his expression darkening. His eyes narrowed, and a shadow of something ancient flickered in his gaze. "And now, I'm afraid there isn't much time."
