Lloyd let out a deep sigh, rubbing the back of his neck as the weight of their situation settled like a boulder on his shoulders. "If the Mayor won't authorize Aspheera's release from Kryptarium legally... then we'll have to break her out illegally."

Wu's eyes widened. "Lloyd, think about what you're saying." His tone was sharp, nearly pleading. "I cannot condone this. We are ninja, not criminals. This is not the way to help Nya."

Lloyd turned slowly, locking eyes with his mentor, the desperation in his voice growing clearer. "Then tell me what the way is, Master Wu. Because right now? We're out of options." He swept his gaze across the room, daring anyone to challenge him. "It's this... or we do nothing and watch her fade away."

He took a step forward. "Now... who's with me?"

A tense beat passed. Then a voice spoke up.

"I'm in." Cole said firmly, stepping forward.

"Me too," Jay added, less enthusiastically, but with just as much conviction.

"Count me in," Kai growled. His eyes still burned with frustration, but he stood tall beside the others.

Zane gave a small nod. "I am also in. The logic is sound, even if the morality is... compromised."

Wu closed his eyes, visibly torn. He opened them slowly, the disappointment in his expression impossible to miss. "Much as it pains me... I cannot be part of this." He looked toward Nya, still encased in ice. "I've seen what Aspheera is capable of. She will betray you again." With that, he turned and walked out, his steps slow and heavy with guilt.

The silence that followed his departure was thick.

Cole exhaled sharply, eyes narrowing. "Then we'll do it without him." He looked to Lloyd, determination hardening his voice. "What's the plan?"

Lloyd nodded, already in mission mode. "We split up. Cole and—"

"Jay." Cole cut in quickly, casting a glance toward his friend. "Like old times..." He cleared his throat, masking the flicker of emotion in his voice.

Jay gave an awkward nod, rubbing the back of his neck. "Right. Just like old times..."

Lloyd raised a brow at the two but moved on. "You two break into Borg Tower. We'll need Aspheera's staff if we're going to stand any chance at helping Nya."

Jay blinked. "Uh—wait, Borg Tower? That place is locked tighter than—"

Cole cut him off. "You in or not?"

Jay hesitated, then nodded. "Yeah. I'm in."

Lloyd continued. "Kai, Zane, and I will handle the break-in at Kryptarium."

Zane spoke up, his brows furrowing. "I am needed here. Without me, Nya's structure will collapse. No one else can maintain the temperature with the required precision."

Lloyd shook his head. "I know. But we'll need you at Kryptarium to bypass the new thermal security systems. You're the only one who can get us through them undetected."

Zane paused, visibly conflicted. "But if I leave... she may not survive long enough for us to help her."

Just then, a familiar voice echoed from above.

"You sure about that?"

The team turned as Skylor dropped down from a skylight, landing with practiced ease.
