My vision finally cleared, and I saw the familiar faces of Skylor, Ronin, Dareth, Kai, Sensei Wu, Cole, Jay, and Misako. We were free from the sword at last. The weight that had held us captive for so long lifted, and I felt a rush of relief as Cole immediately turned to me, pulling me into a tight embrace.

"Thank you," Kai said walking up to Skylor, his voice thick with emotion. "I don't know how we'll ever be able to repay you."

Cole pulled back, looking at me with gratitude in his eyes, his hands still resting on my shoulders. I smiled, my heart swelling.

Skylor just shrugged, a sly smirk on her face. "Let's just say you owe me one," she replied coolly, her arms crossing.

Ronin chimed in, raising an eyebrow. "Or, you know, a few thousand, if we're talking in the denomination of currency." His tone was playful, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes at his usual humor.

"No reward? Really?" Ronin added, glancing between me and Cole with exaggerated disappointment.

"Hey, you'd do the same for us," Dareth said, giving Ronin a playful shove. "Only with, you know, less pizzazz."

The group burst into laughter, but Jay quickly cut in, his voice filled with urgency. "Ugh, I hate to break up the reunion, but may I remind you all that we have a wedding to stop?" Jay's eyes were wide with panic, his voice a little higher than usual.

"That's right," Misako said, nodding in agreement. "Jay's got his last wish to take down the Djinn."

I watched Jay closely, his energy infectious, but my mind was elsewhere. I realized what would happen if Jay used his wish. The truth hit me like a cold wave.

If Jay makes that wish, everything will be erased. We won't remember anything—I won't remember anything.

And Cole and I... we won't be together.

A deep, quiet sadness settled in my chest, and I instinctively pulled Cole away from the bustling conversation. His confused expression softened when he noticed my serious demeanor.

"Y/n? What's wrong?" Cole asked gently, his hand reaching for mine. His concern was evident in his eyes, but I couldn't bring myself to speak at first.

I took a deep breath, not wanting to break his heart. "Once Jay makes his wish, we'll forget everything... about Nadakhan, about us." My voice cracked, the weight of what was to come pressing down on me.

Cole's eyebrows furrowed as he tried to process what I said. "But... but you'll still have the vision, right? You'll still remember the future... and you'll tell me, won't you?"

I avoided his gaze, my heart heavy with uncertainty. "I don't know if I'll remember... or even be able to tell you."

The worry in his expression deepened, and I could see the panic rising in him. "You will, won't you?" He grabbed my hands, his voice rising slightly in desperation. "You have to! You have to remember. You have to remember us."

I shrugged, my shoulders feeling heavier than ever. "I don't know what's going to happen, Cole. There has to be something we can do... we can't just forget everything."

As I looked around, trying to think, my gaze landed on Sensei Wu. An idea flickered in my mind, a memory surfacing from our past. I turned to Cole, eyes wide with realization.
