"You fucking idiot! What the fuck are you doing?!" My dad shouted at the screen.

"Left, left! Oh my god!" Uncle Zak threw his empty can across the room.

"I can't even deal with him." Jamie commented.

"How fucking hard is it to make the goal?" Uncle Liam shouted.

"He was well out, would've never made that shot. He needs replacing." Uncle Ben chimed in.

There was a lot of testosterone filling the air of Jamie's house, it was like this most Sundays. We would sit around watching the game and then pig out on food.

I lay on the U-shaped sofa with my legs up on the foot rest and Henry resting his head on my lap, I mindlessly fiddled with his hair as we watched the game together.

The sensory motion really calmed him whenever he felt tense. He had medium to long length brown hair which everybody hated but he wouldn't let anyone touch him to cut it.

Aunt Olive walked through the door and following behind her was a flash of red hair. I froze as soon as I locked eyes with her, my fingers instantly stilled in Henry's hair.

"Oh for fucks sake!" Uncle Liam shouted.

"I told you he needs to be sent off." Uncle Ben told everyone.

I looked out of the patio doors, Blossom was talking to Aunt Olive and my mom. I felt like she was intruding on my space, seeing me for who I really was and where I came from.

"Yeah!!!!" Everybody screamed around me, I guess we won. I stopped watching when the distraction came in. The guys started singing 'We are the champions' and then stood up.

As soon as we all stepped outside Blossom bowed her head shyly. Things had been awkward between us for days now.

We all took seats around the outdoor dining table, Henry tugging my hand so I could sit next to him.

Chloe came outside with her phone pressed against her ear, she released a giggle. "No Chad, you can't say things like that." She gushed.

"Chad?" Jordan mouthed to the table.

"You're not dating anyone called Chad, it's a douchebags name." Zak said.

"Do you mind? I'm on the phone!" She whisper shouted. My dad grabbed the phone out of her hand.

"Hello? Who is this? What are your intentions for my niece?" Chloes eyes widened and she tried to fight for the phone back but he pulled it away laughing.

"I swear to god Jordan if you don't give me it back right now." She protested.

"But she like, thinks you're really cute." He put on a girly voice and threw the phone to uncle Zak.

Blossom caught my eye, the amusement evident on her face. I smiled too and shook my head laughing, her smile only grew wider which made my insides do backflips.

"Oh my god, I can't believe I'm speaking to the hottest guy in school. I cannot!" Uncle Zak continued in the girly voice while poor Chloe moved along the table trying to get her phone back.

"Oh my god, Zak give it back." He threw the phone along to Ben. "Ben if you dare!" Chloe warned, pointing her finger at him.

"Our babies would be so darn cute. Ben, Benji and Benjamin. Not all boys." Chloe made another swipe for the phone but he threw it to Liam.

"You know boy, I'm no stranger to handling a gun. If you don't treat my daughter well, I will find you and kill you." He spoke with a stern tone and then hung up and handed it back. They all burst out laughing.

"Damn Liam, dark." My dad joked.

"I hate you all." Chloe sat down on one of the chairs.

"So Fearne, tell us about yourself." My dad asked, I could tell by his facial expression and the tone of his voice that he was about to mess with her.

"Don't start." My mom and Aunt Olive warned in unison. I burst out laughing.

"You want the sausages Henry?" He nodded his head Aunt Olive loaded his plate with several sausages, no bun.

He carried on playing with his small tour bus souvenir toy, the one we got from New York the last time we visited.

He paid particular attention to how the wheels moved against his skin. I grabbed his knife and fork and started cutting the sausages up into smaller circles, careful to get the circles as neat and precise to one another as possible. Only when each piece of meat was circular and not touching, did he start eating. Blossom watched me curiously but I didn't look her way.

"So Lexi, how is school" My mom asked her.

"It's going good, I'm well on track for making my credits up."

"Thank God, I thought you were never going to graduate. Deffo don't need to question whose sperm made you." My dad joked, Blossom choked on her water.

"Fuck off." Uncle Zak laughed, Lexi flipped him off.

"You're quiet, everything okay Cameron?" Uncle Liam asked.

"Yeah, I'm good. Everything is fine." His answer was short and quick, his face was blotchy like he had been crying but he just lowered his head to focus on his plate.

"Who is excited for the retreat?" Chloe asked.

"Nope!" Jamie said.

"No." Lexi agreed.

"Sucks to be you guys!" I laughed, though I felt a little bitter.

"What's the retreat?" Blossom asked.

"It's this dumb trip the whole school goes on for team building skills. We gotta stay in chalets and climb mountains. It's really fucking tedious." Lexi explained.

"And you're not going?" She asked me.

"No." I shut her down moodily.

"Why?"

I pretended like I didn't care. I laughed at people for having to attend and they all complained it sucked but the truth is, I wanted to be there complaining it sucked too.

I always wanted to go but my principal wouldn't allowed it because I was a risk. My whole school got to go on this week long retreat, they got to do field trips and fun stuff. I was forced to sit out.

Suddenly the atmosphere around the table dampened. Everything became awkward and quiet amongst the adults because they knew the real reason why I wasn't going.

"They won't let him because he's a dick." Lexi filled in the blanks, unknowing of my disorder but my reputation gave me enough alibi.

"Oh." Blossom replied softly but her brow furrowed ever so slightly, like she was really thinking about it.
