Chapter 15

I wake up to the smell of coffee
"About time"
Sebastian says
"You got knocked out" he laughs
"Shut up" I tell him as I try to sit up
"Okay Missy. No need to be defensive" he says as he helps me up

"There's sleeping beauty" Ryan says.
"Did your Prince kiss you awake?" He laughs.
Oh Ryan

"I missed you so" I stand up and hug him.
Ryan's my best friend since High school. We practically did everything together.
It was no mere coincidence we attend the same University.

"Sebastian. This is Ryan. Ryan this is Sebastian" I say and Sebastian stands up. And nods at him holding me possessively.
I grin.
He's jealous.

"How's your boyfriend doing?" I ask Ryan
"He's good. In fact he told me to go visit him immediately I arrive in Minessota.Paris was amazing" he adds
"We'll talk more later" I reply
He waves and goes outside

I jump on Sebastian and he immediately he carries me.
"Stop being so jealous" I kiss him
"I'm not" he pulls out.
"He doesn't like girls right?"
"Very much" I reply
"So be on the look out. He might just have a crush on you"

"Oh really?" He laughs and kisses me softly laying me on the couch.
"I missed you" he pulls out.
"We were together like twelve hours ago" I laugh.
Gosh he smells good.

"Haha yeah" he pauses
"I'm leaving tonight" he kisses me

"What?" I pull out
"For three months" he replies
I push him away slightly and sit up
"Why?" I ask.
"I need to settle family issues" he says
"I'll be back before you know it"
He sits

"Can I come with you?"
I say trying not to sound desperate.
But I fail

"No don't. Its not safe. Plus you have school to worry about"
Not safe?
"Becky is upstairs with the Brazilian" he replies

"Promise you'll come back to me" I say as a tear falls on my cheek
"I promise" he kisses my temple

Another tear falls.

"Promise you'll remember that your mine" he looks at me blankly.
His gray eyes stare at me blankly wanting to be assured.

Another tear falls and another follows almost immediately. He wipes them away.

"I promise" I kiss him almost immediately and he kisses me back.
This is the last time I'm going to see him and it freaking hurts.
Minutes go by and we're still at it.
I pull out and lie on his chest. Let me feel his warmth one last time.

Cars' head lights are seen from outside.
"I have to go now Kate" he says and I face up with tears.
No. Please don't
"I hate seeing you cry. So promise me you won't" he continues
"I can't promise that Sebastian" standing up he forces me to stand.

He kisses my temple
"I love you" I tell him
"I love you more" he replies
As I see him walking away I feel a sharp pain in my chest.
"Please look back" I whisper to myself.
He doesn't.
The door closes and I fall on my knees letting my tears flow.
The last time I cried this hard was when my father died.
A stake in my heart is what it was.
Hurting like hell.
I look at the ground and sob uncontrollably.
