Chapter 23

Isabelle's POV

I can't believe we're going to Hawaii! Tomorrow! I knew something was up! This is going to be awesome!

"Let's go watch the movie!" I suggest to Sophia.

"Sure," she replies.

I love the lion king. Like, you could be sad one minute and the next, you're peeing your pants. It's so good.

It's over now. Sophia is asleep. I decide to see Xander and sneak in here tomorrow morning.

I slowly creep out and tiptoe into Alexander's room.

"Xander?" I whisper.

"Hey. What's up?" He whispers back.

"Sophia's asleep. So Im going to sleep in here." I explain. He nods.

"We should probably sleep, since our flight leaves at 9:30."

What the heck? 9:30? That means we will have to get up at like, 6:30! Gah! Can't anyone tell me this stuff?

I cuddle up in his arms. I think about what we are going to do. Hmm. Definitely snorkeling. What about paddle boarding? Maybe. Oh, and surfing! This trip is going to be awesome!

Xander is tossing and turning and grunting in his sleep. He is probably having a nightmare. I hope he's okay.

Alexander's POV

I'm having a terrible nightmare. First, on the plane, we crash into the ocean. I try to help Isabelle but its no use. We are being attacked by sharks and there is no land around us. We slowly start to sink towards the bottom-

I jerk up. I look over to my side to make sure Isabelle is still there. She is. Thank God that was a dream. I wouldn't have ever forgiven myself if I couldn't save Isabelle. I shudder at the thought.

I slowly fall back asleep. Dreamless, thankfully. I don't think I could go through more than one dream.
