"I should leave" The boy said and left. Irene brust into laughter. Jungkook just blushed and looked down at his lap. "You are no fun koo!" Irene said and kissed him on his cheek.

Jungkook glared at her and said "And you are a psycho" Irene shrugged it off. "Yea I know" She said and booped his nose resulting him into scrunching his nose.

"So what have you planned for tomorrow?" Irene asked. "What?" Jungkook said confused. "How can you forget it? Tomorrow is mother's Day you dumbo" Irene said smacked his head from the back.

"O-oh. Is it tomorrow?" Jungkook asked, sadness laced in his voice. "Yeah.. What happened?" Irene asked. Jungkook shook his head and said "it's just.. I haven't prepared anything" Irene nodded and said "Me too"

The next day~

At school:

Jungkook was walking towards his class, lost in his thoughts. Today every students mother was gonna attend the school and the students will make handmade gifts with their mother's favorite placed in the gifts.

Jungkook was upset about not knowing what his mother like so he brought some chocolates and a necklace for her. He got the necklace for 5,000 wons which were too much for him to afford yet he sacrificed his needs to buy her something.

He slowly made his way to his desk and sat on it. Everyone's mother was present except for his. This made him really sad.

Somehow he started to make a little box, simple yet creative. After approximately 30 mins he was done with his gift. He sat there silently, staring at his gift. A sound of door being opened was heard. He shot his head at that direction and saw his mother! He was over the moon.

She gave him a glance before walking towards the back where every mother was watching their children with love. She just rolled her eyes at him and watched taehyung and jimin.

Two classes were combined during the competition that's why taehyung, jimin and jungkook were in the same class.

After everyone was done and the time was over the teacher told every mother to interact with their children. Jungkook watched his mother meeting taehyung and jimin. He patiently waited for her to come to him.

He watched her praising, caressing and giving motherly kisses to both of them. He waited for her to come to him eagerly. He waited for the love and support of her mother for him.

Soon after 15 mins she got up and came to him. She signalled him to give it to her. He handed her the gift and waited for the reaction. She side eyed him and murmured "useless" This made jungkook really hurt. He waited and waited for her  reaction and he got this?

"Such a pathetic boy" She said in front of the whole class making jungkook embarrass. He should have skip school today. He tightly gripped his thighs and tried not to cry.

"D-do you l-like it?" He asked even if he got his answer. He scoffed and threw the gift on the floor. "It's pathetic like you" She said and walked off. Jungkook nodded and got onto the floor to collect the things up.

"It's fine" He said sitting on the chair as he wrapped his arms around his waist. He smiled to himself and said "you have done a really good job koo. Keep it up" He praised himself.

Even after a long time of waiting, he got nothing but degrading.
