Jungkook looked at his surroundings and saw every student getting praising, hugs and some appreciation from their parents including his own brothers. He pouted and stared at his gift. He took the necklace in his hand. Tears started pouring out from his eyes.

"I-I brought it with love.." He said and wiped his tears. After sometime it was lunch time. Today every mother brought handmade lunch for their kids. They all are gonna chat and eat together at school.

Jungkook looked here and there trying to find his mother and when he did, he knew there is nothing she brother for him because she was already eating with his brothers. Then a thing click on his mind. His diet! She didn't brought him lunch because she doesn't want him to get fatter, atleast this is what he thought.

He smiled and stared at the wooden piece of the table for a long time until there was the sound of bell ringing indicating that their half day at school was finished and now all of them can go home can celebrate Mother's Day.

Jungkook swiftly slung his bag over his shoulder and ran to Irene's house. She didn't cane today as she and Mrs. Bae were gone shopping.

He reached there in 10 mins. There he saw that the door of the house is locked. He panted hard and sat near the door frame waiting excitedly for them to return.

He waited until it was dusk. He nearly slept however he heard sounds of chatting, getting louder and louder. "Koo what are you doing here hun?" Mrs. Bae asked getting worried about their condition of the boy.

Jungkook was sitting there hugging his knees with tear stained cheeks. His hair were messy and somehow dirty. Yet he smiled. He smiled when he saw Mrs. Bae and Irene.

"I was waiting for you m-mom" Jungkook said and flashed his bunny smile. He then handed her his handmade gift, he made at his school. She took it and opened it. The moment she saw what's inside, tears started brimming In her eyes. It was the same necklace, chocolates but with a special note in it.

Thank you for being my mother.

This was written on it. She engulfed him in a bone crushing hug hearing giggles from the little boy in her embrace. "I will love you no matter what koo. Don't thank me for this" She said and hugged him tighter.

"I love you too" He said. Watching this Irene made a puzzled face. "What is even happening?" She asked out. Mrs. Bae shook his head and looked at jungkook. "Koo do you wanna live me my house? I promise I will never them hurt you anymore" She asked.

Jungkook parted his lips to speak but couldn't find any answer. "I-I don't know.. Actually I-I still love them" He said. She nodded understanding.

"It's okay Koo. But promise me you will never hide anything from me" Mrs. Bae asked. Jungkook nodded his coconut head making her laugh. "Such a cutie pie" She cooed.

"Umm... Hello? Can you still me what is going on?" Irene asked getting curious. "You didn't told her koo?" Mrs. Bae asked. "Not yet.. " He said with a slight blush playing on his cheeks.

"Well Irene it's about your lil friend here. He gets abused by his family in his house." Mrs. Bae explained in short. Even if the sentence sounds simple, it's much more difficult to fight for your life when your own loved ones beat the shit out of you and leave you dying. It's hard to breathe at the same spot. It hard to believe that the ones who gave birth to you are now regretting it.

Irene looked at him with sad eyes. She knew about his hyungs but not about his parents. Jungkook glanced at her and then at the floor, getting nervous. Then Irene spread her arms out making jungkook jump into her arms. They both hug for a while with tears still pouring out.

"I-I am sorry for not telling you this before" He said and hiccuped. Irene rubbed his back and said "it's fine kookie. You must've had any reason" Jungkook just cried harder.

"I love you koo. Never forget that" Irene said. "I love you too"
