Y/N sat alone at the corner of the rooftop as The wind and birds were the only ones making sounds.

The only time she gets peace is when she's alone.

But until a beautiful singing voice was heard from Y/N's ear.

'Huh? Is that singing? Whoever is singing is really good at it..' Y/N thought as she thought of the person who was singing, she followed the voice and guess who it was singing.

Yep, Jake sterling. the bully who flirted with her this morning.

'Since when did Jake have this amazing voice in him? Woah, hold up. Did i just call my bully amazing?!' Y/n thought but Jake continued singing.

Y/N did not see this coming, who knew that one of her bullies was actually a good singer.

Once Jake had finished singing, Y/N blew her own cover and started clapping.

Jake was startled by the sound of clapping and turned around and saw Y/N clapping for him.

"Y-Y/N?!" Jake Blushed.

"Wow Jake! You're an amazing singer, how come you've kept it a secret tho?" Y/N asked walking a bit closer to him.

"I don't really sing-I MEAN I CAN SING! but, it's not really a big deal?" Jake stuttered through rosy cheeks.

"EXCUSE ME?? NO BIG DEAL?! YOU SOUND LIKE AN ANGEL!" Y/N yelled and Jake went more crimson red.

'Woah! she think's I'm-I'm an angel??" Jake said blushing furiously.

"Why haven't you joined us yet? We could totally use your singing talent for the competition!" Y/N said.

"Oh uh I don't really think they would let me in. you know after I treated you guys for the past years.." Jake sadly said and Y/N couldn't help but feel bad for Jake, she walked closer to Jake and took his hand into hers. this made Jake red.

"J-Jake, I know this is really weird coming from me but I think Me, Zander, and Hailey will give you a 2nd chance. get me wrong, you treated us like $h1t in the past years but Hailey and I believe in 2nd chances so I'll think you would be great for the club." Y/N said and Jake couldn't help but admire the girl.

"Jake?" Y/N asked as Jake was pulled out of his thoughts.

"Huh? OH Yeah! I'll join, I guess..." Jake said and Y/N smiled.

"Great! Meet me at the music club later after school, K?" Y/N said and Jake nodded in answer.

"Alright then Cya later, Jake!" Y/N waved bye to Jake before walking away and Jake watched her dissapear round the corner.

they both couldn't help but feel helpless for each other.
