Y/N looked over their phone and Saw someone was calling them

She hesitantly pick up the phone and looked at the name.

Jake Sterling.

She nervously pressed the answer button as she were greeted by Jake.

"Hey Y/N, I've got good news." Jake happily said through the phone.

"Oh! Uh, what-what is it?" Y/N hesitantly said, hoping that the news isn't what she thinks.

"I finally asked Daisy out and she said Yes!" Jake happily exclaimed through the phone and Y/N's heart skipped a beat.

She dropped the phone in shock as tears started to show in her eyes.

It was already too late...

"Y/N? You there?" Jake said and Y/N pulled out of their thoughts and quickly grabbed the phone from the floor.

"S-Sorry, I uh lost my tray of thought there. I'm happy for..y-you.." Y/N faked a smile even tho Jake can't see it.

"Are you ok, Y/N? You've been stuttering a lot." Jake asked.

"Oh-Oh! No-No! I'm just Surprised! I'm happy that you finally asked Daisy out!" Y/N faked again her emotion.

"Thanks! I gotta go now, My date with her is later tonight. Bye Y/N!" Jake said.

"O-Oh, Alright! Talk to you later!" Y/N hung up the phone.

Y/N sadly sighs as she placed their phone on the side table and Laid in her bed for a few minutes while staring at the ceiling.

She grabbed their diary under their bed and started writing on it, without getting the paper wet from their tears.

Dear Diary...

It's already too late, I've lost my chance with Jake. Daisy already made a move and I couldn't even speak to Jake properly earlier. Well at least, He's happy but now, I can never tell him how I feel.

I guess you gotta let go of people sometimes.
