Imaginary Friend

Timeline: Middle School

Little Jake ran all the way out of the school and onto a small oak tree.

He Wipes his tears away with the tips of his fingers.

'Loser!'

'Outcast!'

'Music Freak!'

"Am I a music freak?" Little Jake asked to no one at all.

"No, you're not."

He widens his eyes and looks up.

He sees a Girl with beautiful H/L H/C Hair along with wearing a Dress out of flowers and Kinds of plants.

Her Big doe E/C eyes Stared into Jake's brown eyes.

But there was something odd about this girl.

She had her Hair up in a bun while Fireflies fly around her.

"Don't listen to those idiots..you're not. You just love Music." the girl said in a heavenly voice that Jake Felt like bells to him as the girl sat down Beside Jake.

"My Name's Y/N L/N, what about you?" The Girl asked with a smile which Made jake's heart flutter.

"Jake, Jake Sterling." Jake answered as the girl took his hand as a blush crept onto The sterling's face.

"Well, Jake Sterling. Wanna play somewhere instead of loatering around this tree?" said Y/N getting up but still holding his hand.

"S-Sure.." Jake got up while holding hands with the girl.

They spent hours playing jn the field, unknowingly feeling something.

And that something felt fake.

[back to present time]

"Jake!" Y/N yelled out her best friend's name as she followed him but he didn't seem to turn around, he only gripped his phone harder.

"Jake! Do you even hear me, you bastard!?" Y/N shouted louder but Jake kept walking until he started walking the road to his house.

"Jake Sterling! Answer me right now or I'll-" Y/N was cut off by Jake turning around with a pissed face.

"Do what? Lie to me again?" Jake said in a Angry tone.

"What-what do you mean Lie to you? And what do you mean again? Wh-" Y/N was interrupted when Jake pulled her really close to his face.

A blush crept onto the L/N's cheeks as she stared into the eyes that she fell in love with.

But something was wrong.

Very wrong.

"You lied to me! My entire life, i thought you were real. I Thought you were the person that finally understood me! But you never did!"  Jake yelled as loud as he can.

Y/N was shocked, how?

"Explain this!" Jake opened his phone, revealing a photo of Jake chasing nothing as if he was chasing someone. A girl. A specific girl.

Jake continued to scroll over revealing photos of himself with nothingness like Laying his head down on a Invisible shoulder, Staring into nothingness, Jake blushing from nothing, and more.

"Ja-Ja-Jake...I can explain!" Y/N waved her hands in front of her as a sign of surrender.

"explain what? The fact that I was imagining someone that felt real to me even tho they never were." Jake Yelled to her face.

"I guess this explains the fact, Drew or Hailey or no one can see or hear you. Go away" Jake said harsly before Turning away for the girl and walked away.

"Jake! Please! I swear, I'll explain everything! Just please. Stay with me!" Y/N Begged as she ran in front of him, stopping in his tracks.

"fine, you have 5 minutes.." Jake said crossing his arms with a glare.

"I'm just in your brain, Jake. My only Purpose here is to make you feel alive. Please, Jake. You're my only reason to live. I Just didn't wanna say anything about it since I knew you were gonna  hurt, I knew you would be angry so I kept it a secret and-" Y/N was cut off by something soft landing on her lips.

It felt so real even Jake felt every part of it. It took a while for Y/N to kiss back as both of their mouths met eachother.

Jake pulled away and looked into her eyes like the way he looked at her for the first time.

Jake pecked her lips before muttering a "I love you" in her ear.

Jake hugged her tight, his hands gripping his waist, his breath in her neck while leaving butterfly kisses.

Y/N bit her lip before escaping a low moan from her lips.

"I'm taking you away." Jake said as he picked her up and headed for his home. His parents nor brother were not home which was a opportunity.

Jake placed her on his bed as he got on top of her, whispered something in her ear.

"I'm gonna make you feel physical again.."

Right as he said that their mouths met again and this time, there was no turning back now.
