Chapter 23

Caspian was in total shock after seeing what Izanami did to Zero. Oh crap it, it wasn't Izanami — it was someone he didn't know that has an eye on them since earlier. Nakaabang lang ito sa isang sulok habang tahimik na hinihintay ang kaganapang nangyayari na ngayon.

With wide eyes open, he made a step towards zero that at the moment lying on the cold floor unconscious.

Iniluhod niya ang isang tuhod at agad na hinawakan ang leeg nito para pakiramdaman ang palapulsohan ng kaibigan.

Thanks God he's just unconscious. Normal lang ang pulse rate niya.

No matter how ridiculous may it sounds but when zero lose his consciousness earlier he felt high level of nervousness. Siguro napaka kapal na ng mukha ko para makaramdaman ng ganito gayong trinaydor ko siya. I may have my reasons but it didn't justify my means. Niloko ko siya at walang ibang paraan para mabago ko pa iyon.

"Ano ito Izanami? Wala to sa plano! Bakit kailangang gawin mo yun?" He asked as he stood up straight

There is this urge feeling that wants to burst inside him but he has to calm. He needed to remain calm as possible, kailangan niyang mag-isip ng maayos at tama just in case if things went south.

"Ano bang ginawa ko? Wala akong ginagawa Caspian." Izanami answer in a matter of factly. Wala nga naman talaga siyang ginagawa but the later knows better.

"Wala kangang ginawa because you have someone to do it for you!" Caspian firmly said. "Ano bang nangyayari sayo? We're not turning south right?"

Izanami nodded so much of Caspian's relief but later on makes his brain storm.

"Yeah, we're not turning because we're on South in the very beginning." She nonchalantly answered.

"What... Do you mean B!?"

But instead of answering his question B just nodded that leave Caspian confused as fvck. Little did he know, just like Zero, Caspian didn't saw it coming, he was late to realize that his also part of Izanami's little show.

Pagkaraan pa'y may tumamang kung ano sa leeg niya na agad siyang napahawak doon. After a short while, Caspian stilled as realization hits him. Pinilit niyang hindi matumaba at nilabanan ang pagkahilo habang sinisikap na tignan kung sino ang gumawa niyon at kung saan iyon nanggaling. And as fast as of a flick of a finger, a man holding a gun and syringe appeared out of nowhere. Caspian maybe contaminated by drug but he can't be wrong nor being rapt for what he's seeing.

"F-four..,?"

But before he could also lose his consciousness, Izanami's voice filled his ears.

"I know you're now lossing your trust towards me but, please don't consume it all and leave some for me so you could still trust me enough to leave everything in my care." That was the last words Caspian heard before he fell into deep sleep.

Two individuals are now lying on the cold floor and so ironic to know that this two are partners in crime.

In that scene Izanami is seeing at the moment, she couldn't care anymore. She's more than desperate. Wala ng ibang paraan kundi ang gumamit ng dahas—and it always work on your favor!

"Two birds in one stone." She thought.

Izanami's POV

Hindi na ako nag abala pang kumatok at dere deretso na akong pumasok. Agad kong nakita ang pakay na nasa harap ng bintana habang may hawak-hawak na champagne glass.

"I've been waiting for about an hour now. I can punish you because of that." Agad nitong salita sa matigas na ingles pagkapasok ko.

"Alam nating pareho na hindi mo gagawin yun, besides you're the one who called me here. I own my time if you don't know."
