Chapter 26

"What are you all doing?" Mr. Mikhiel Vitale ask as soon as he arrived at the  pr where his nephews was all there.

Parang mga sira ulo silang lahat dahil pare-parehong nakangisi habang nakatingin sa white board, iyon ang naabotan ni Mr. Mikhiel na ngayo'y nangungunot na ang noo sa pagtataka.

"And what is that for?" Pagtuturo nito sa white board. "... Searching for Itlog?" Lalong nangungunot ang noo nito pagkabasa sa mga sumunod pa na isinulat ng pamangkin niyang nasa harapan — si Four.

"Rescue Zero? What the hell is this all about? I want an explanation right now!"

Napamaang ang lahat. Who wouldn't be? It was their tito Mik, kapatid ng mga daddy nila and... One of the bosses of the organization. Kilala silang matatapang at matitinik pero kung may kinakatakotan man sila ay iyon yung mga bosses — their own father's. Ang mga matatandang Vitale ang nakahihigit sa lahat and they are all scared like a pussy.

Who wouldn't be? They're scary as fvck and merciless. If they feel like insulted or, betrayed you can't pass with their punisher who has blinded. They don't know you, no matter who you are even if you're one of the young Vitale's. If you go against them then deserve punishment will be serve.

Kaya ganon na lang ang takot nila rito. Mikhiel may seems like only their tito but it didn't take the fact that he is still one of the bosses.

"I hate waiting, you know." Ulit nito nung walang sumagot sa tanong niya.
Ngunit hindi na siya hinayaan ng magpipinsan na makapagsalita pa ulit at inunahan na ito.

"We're sorry tito if we didn't ask for permission because we take it urgently, we'll take full responsibility–"

"That's not what I'm asking, why you'll rescue Zero?"

It was thirteen who answered. "We know that you'll be the first to know about this, about what happened to Zero–"

"Why? What happened to him!?"

Everyone in that table look at their tito with confusion visible in their faces. As they can see to their tito, it seems not bother at all.

"Y-you don't know?" Eleven finally ask.

"I'm asking. What happened to Zero!?"

"He's being kidnapped!" Everyone said in unison. They can't believe that their tito, the own father of zero don't know a thing. Nakidnap ang anak nito tapos parang wala itong alam. Ambilibabol

"Zero was missing for two days now yet you don't know tito? We highly believed that he's being kidnapped."

Para namang na gulohan na tumitig si Mr. Mik sa mga pamangkin niya na halata ang hindi maintindihang reaksiyon sa mukha. "Kidnapped? The heck with that, he's not being kidnapped. Y'll are being overreacting, you know."

"Huh? What do you mean by that? He's missing tito! Russel is missing!"

Napatawa ang matandang Vitale sa inaasta ng mga pamangkin. Where did they come up with that idea?

"You all are just OA. Zero is fine and he's not being kidnapped whatsoever. In fact, he's on big transaction together with Amera and his two partners — B and Caspian."

"What?" Sabay-sabay na tanong ng anim. "You mean, hindi talaga siya nawawala at may ongoing transaction siya?" Seven voice out.

Tumango ang matanda sakanila. "Yeah, nagpaalam siya the day before yesterday. Magkakasama sila."

"The fvck..."

"Damn!"

"I'm worrying for nothing, great!" Sarcasms was visible on Eleven's voice. It was kind of true. Hindi niya man aminin pero alam niyang nag-alala siya sa biglaang disappearance ng pinsan. Dalawang araw niya itong hindi mahagilap and so as Caspian and the woman they're always with. It was so easy to came an idea of him being kidnapped lalo na nung silang anim na mismo ang nakapansin sa biglaang pagkawala nito. Usually, Zero was the kind of person na iinform ka. Hindi kami magaling magsinungaling sa isa't-isa kaya we just simply spill the beans. So, his sudden disappearance brought of so much overthink on him and it felt like so unusual for eleven.

"Are you sure that he's okey? To tell you all honesty, it felt so unusual, didn't it?"

"Don't worry Konstantin, I'm pretty sure his fine and kicking. So boys, stop worrying now, hmm?"

Everyone just nodded. Napatango rin ang matanda at iiling-iling na pumasok na  sa opisina nito na nasa loob lang rin ng private room. Those young men's, tsk! Tsk!

Habang yung anim na naiwan sa labas ay hindi parin makapaniwala sa nangyari. They are all dumbfounded.

"I'm gonna kill him!" Eleven was the one who said it. "I'm gonna kill him, really! I'm worried to the core yet I'll just know that his fine! Unharmed!"

Eleven was beyond disbelief. He felt like betrayed when it fact he's not. Hindi siya makapaniwala na walang kwenta ang pag-aalala Niya dahil nasa mabuting kalagayan ang taong ipinag-aalala niya.

But at the back of his mind, his instinct was telling him that something is really off and his theory was right about Zero — and it was in the very beginning because in a white wide room somewhere, a man who's peacefully sleeping was later on being dragged out of that room – it was Zero. His cousins was all right, he was being kidnapped and he surely know who's behind of this.

On the pr where the six young Vitale's was, felt relief about knowing that their MIA cousin is unharmed and their theory was all wrong. They're talking that maybe they got carried away or just being overreacting. But little did they know, the one they thought fine and unharmed was happened to be the total opposite. Kasabay ng mga ngiti sa labi nila ay ang pagharap ng pinsan nila sa tiyak na kapahamakan.

Hindi nila ito matutulongan dahil nakatatak na sa kaalaman nila na maayos ang lagay nito. It was a mistake not pursuing their instinct. It was a mistake not finding their cousin and it was a mistake, believing to their tito's word.

They can't lend a hand.

While on the other hand, Zero who they thought unharmed was now had some bruises. May mga galos na ito sa katawan dahil sa panlalaban nito. He was waiting to be rescued yet no one came that's why he's trying his luck to escape but to no avail he always failed.

Tangina! Asan ba ang mga hangal na yun? Di pwedeng kataposan ko na!

Zero can't do anything, he's being well guarded at nakaposas rin ang kamay niya. Isa sa mga nagkakaladkad sakanya ay may kalakasan siyang itinulak at padarag na pinaupo. Inilibot niya ang paningin sa kabuoan  at tinignan ang lahat ng maabot ng mata niya.

The place where Zero was, is more like an abandoned warehouse. Maraming gamit ang nagkalat, may mga kahon sa bawat sulok, patay sindi ang ilang ilaw sa ibang pasilyo. Natuon lang ang paningin niya sa harap nung magsimula ng magsilabasan ang ilang mga armadong kalalakihan, sa gitna nito ay may hinay-hinay na naglalakad papunta sa dereksiyon niya.

Inaninag niya ito at agad na napamura sa isip nung tuloyan niyang makita kung sino ito. It didn't consumed a second to know the man standing infront of him now.

"Zanoza," Mahinang sambit niya sa pagkakakilanlan nito.

Ngumisi ang matandang lalaki at ang mapaglarong mata nito ay nakatuon sakanya.

"We met really soon young man! It's nice to hear that you knew me. My pleasure to finally see you in person young Vitale!"

Ipinatong ni Zero ang nakaposas na kamay sa kaharap na mesa at walang reaksiyon na nag-angat ng tingin sa kausap. "I've done things just to see you but you did the favor for me. My pleasure to finally met you, Natushka Zanoza or known by your codename Amato."

"I hope your doing fine old japanese man!"
