Chapter 29- Unexpected Trip

*Q's POV*

I walked into Rachel's kitchen the next day, where I found her by the counter talking to her mom, eating a cherry.

"Yes, yes. I heard you."

"I wasn't yelling!"

I couldn't help but laugh at that, and she laughed also.

"Nothing. Okay. I love you. Talk to you later."

"What was that about?"

"Talking to my mother as usual, she always has some sort of drama."

"Well, isn't that lovely?"

"Do you want to come with me?"

"What? Where?"

"My parents have a house in Los Angeles, I'm going for the weekend. Do you want to come?"

"Uh, well..."

"You can tell me if you don't."

"I do. I really do. But, I don't want to be a bother on your parents."

"Okay, Q, first. My mom loves you and so does my dad. Second. They won't be there. It'll just be us two. Third. They don't care because they know that we're serious."

"Then, yeah! I would love to!"

*Rachel's POV*

When he said he would go, I thought I was going to die. I had only been to LA once before, and it was a conference for journalism.

"Okay, so it's a beach house on Venice Beach."

"Damn. They got money!"

I couldn't help but laugh.

"I guess so, but they don't give me a dime of it."

"When are we leaving?"

"Next Friday."

"Perfect!"

"Im so excited! What do you say we go to Chipotle for lunch?" My eyes we're probably gleaming because I saw Q get lost in them.

"Oh, sure."
