Maureen's head was injured with an open cut and blood sprawled from it. Harry another chauffeur in the mansion saw her condition and rushed to her.

He took her into his arms yelling. "Maureen! Maureen!"

Immediately he saw the blood on her head, he shut his mouth and carried her into one of the cars that were packed nearby. He had been planning to step out so the car was open. He placed her in gently and then rushed back into the mansion to get the car keys.

"Antonia! Come here!" he called out and soon Antonia arrived.

"What's the matter and why are you shouting at the top of your voice?" she asked in a confused tone.

"I need you to call Dr Gabriel and inform him that we'd be coming to the hospital. Do it quickly. We don't have time." Harry told Antonia.

"I don't understand. Why do I need to do that?" she asked again.

"Look, Maureen injured her head and it's bleeding. Be fast about it." Harry said.

"Wait! Shouldn't we call Mr Charles before stepping out?" Harry inquired.

"Don't bother! He'd be too busy with all that's happening in his company. I'd inform him when he returns." Antonia said and immediately Harry left to get the car keys.

He went to his room, grabbed it and rushed out. By the time he was out, she had already called the doctor.

"Have you called him?" Harry asked.

"Yes, I've but you still need to explain what happened," she answered.

"That will have to be later," he said and they left the mansion and got into the car.

"Get in quickly." he urged her as they neared the car.

Harry drove while Antonia sat in the back seat with Maureen in her arms. They arrived at the hospital and Maureen was admitted immediately. She was in one of the wards and Dr Gabriel assigned another doctor to attend to her since he was busy.

"Harry, now that Maureen is in save hands, will you kindly tell me how this came about?" Antonia asked worriedly.

"I don't know myself," he answered.

"What do you mean by you don't know? You alerted me of her condition." Antonia was perplexed.

"You see, while I walked by the compound, I saw Maureen laying on the floor with her head injury. That's all that I'm aware of." Harry answered.

"That's weird. Where exactly did you spot her?" Antonia asked prying into the issue like a detective.

"Well, she was by the door," he answered.

"Was she cleaning and if not what would she be doing outdoor?"

"Yes she was and the cleaning materials were away from her. Maybe she fainted. It's reasonable and she probably hit her head on the rock cuz blood was on it." Harry answered.

"Wait! She couldn't have fainted. She was in good condition." Antonia became more inquisitive.

"What if she was ill and was keeping her illness to herself," Harry said suggestively.

"That's not possible, if she was she wouldn't have offered to do Claudia's duties. Something doesn't add up." Antonia reminded.

"You have a point," he added.

"But what if she wanted to come in to take something inside and she slipped," Harry suggested.

"You and your crazy speculations. Why would she want to take the front door? We are servants remember."
