It was already the middle of the day and I was heading to go see Victor he was assistant scientist but he might as well be an actual one he's smart enough to be at one but he's just an assistant because of where he's from Victor is from the undercity so me and him have something in common I normally show him my designs and he gives me tips about what I could do to make it better I found him standing outside the school

"Hey Vic what's going on" he looked down and he saw I had my sketchbook "hey (y/n) it's good to see you again I see you have your sketchbook but I can't look at it right now I will once I get back though I was called in for a meeting it's a trial I was just heading there" mom told me about the trial "about the person that owned the dorm that exploded what's all that about anyways" I started to walk with him to the trial "I don't know what it's about the only thing I do know is he had some illegal stuff in his room he was held in prison overnight well more like a containment cell he didn't go to South water but that's all I know" we were halfway to the trial "I see what's going to happen anyways"

"i'm not sure to be honest he might get a spelled or even exiled it's what the council decides" we were down the hall from the trial  "well this is as far as I can go mom doesn't like me in that room the other counselors know who I am but I'm not allowed to actually meet them I don't know why I don't think mom wants me involved in that stuff yet" Victor started to ruffle my hair "I understand where your mother is coming from you're still a kid ones I'm done with this I'll see if I have time and I can look at your sketchbook" I started to giggle as I removed his hand "You're gonna mess up my hair" I said my goodbyes to Victor and I went on my way mostly everyone was in the trial they wanted to see how it would play out

I headed to a nice quiet place so I could think I open my Sketchbook and one of the pictures fell out I picked it up and I saw it was the picture of the little girl I saw yesterday I looked at it closely I wonder what she was running from maybe she has something to do with the robbery who knows though I laid down in the grass looking up at the clouds it was a very beautiful day and I was about to close my eyes before I saw Marcus he was heading to the bridge I thought nothing of it though enforcers go down there all the time especially now since that explosion yesterday I brush my self off as I got up I grab my sketchbook and the picture of the blue head girl I put it back in my sketchbook as I thought of what to do 

I decided to go around to different shops and see what they had nothing really interest me I saw Victor outside of the store I ran out to greet him "hey Vic" he gave me a smile "hey do you want to go over those ideas of yours" we headed to a bench so we could sit down I gave him my sketchbook he started to flip through the pages I gave him my pencil for him to write stuff down on

"this design you have it's dangerous" I looked at the one that he was referring to "it's not supposed to be it's supposed to be like a glitter bomb or something like that I just don't know how it's supposed to work I have the key components down I just don't know how to build it" Victor started to chuckle "that's always been your problem you know how to design stuff and how to make it work you just don't know how to build them" I was glad I could see Victor happy he's always exhausted or busy with other stuff but I know him looking through my ideas helps him a little he told me on multiple occasions that he loves looking through my sketchbooks

"how did the trial turn out" he shut my sketchbook and gave it back to me "well it was  interesting the person that was on trial his name was Jayce he went on about this magic thing I think it might be able to work but I don't know I looked at his notes I do have his journal on me but he was expelled from the Academy" I sat there thinking "what if he proves it that it could be possible well that get him from being expelled" Victor thought for a  moment "I believe you're right if he proves it could be possible then maybe will study it and" I stood up and grabbed his hand "then what are you waiting for try to go find him see if it's possible I mean scientist have to take risks don't they" Victor stood up with mine and his canes help "you're right I'm gonna go find him you should get heading home" I gave him a simple nod as he walked off

"yeah I'm not going home yet" I know it will be sunset so but I still had time to stay out normally I'm back before sunset or at sunset so I have time to stay out a little longer I decided to head back to my quiet place it was a spot underneath the bridge no one really goes down there so I have the whole place to myself

I sat down on one of the crates and grab my sketchbook to see the little notes that Victor wrote I was flip through the pages until I got to the one about the bomb and I saw a little note on there

'you're doing great kid I have an idea for you try to partner up with someone if you want to start building these try getting someone to teach you or get a partner of your own like an assistant in other words'

Victor has always been blunt about what he's thinking so I get these notes a lot it does make sense though having someone that could build the stuff as I designed them I jumped off the crate I made my way from underneath the bridge to see what time it was I looked up and saw that it was sunset the sun was mostly down already a few more minutes and it would be completely dark "I stayed out a lot longer than I thought" I got back up from underneath the bridge I turned to the other side looking at where I come from the undercity I remember the little girl that I saw she was around my age "I don't think mom would mind if I just stay out a little longer" I looked around me so there was no enforces and I stepped on the bridge heading to the undercity
