I stopped by another store to grab some purple gloves for Victor instead of the black ones for the wedding we wanted to find purple ones to begin with but we couldn't so we settled on black I finished making my way home it was still pretty early in the day so no one should be up

Once I got in mine and Powder's room I saw that she was still asleep in bed a smile across my face as I put the box down on the desk and went to go get a shower

After the shower I got changed and went out of the bathroom to see that she was still asleep it made me giggle as I went over to the bed and sat down next to her

"Love it's time to wake up" she turned away for me as I smiled "love~ it's time to wake up" I leaned closer to her ear to whisper she turned a little bit more and started to open up her eyes to look at me "it's time to get up" she started to set up and she open her eyes completely "you back I thought you would be gone for to day as well" I started to laugh as I wrapped a arm around her "and miss our anniversary I would never" I saw the Powder's eyes lit up as she wrapped her arms around my neck "you remember" I moved her closer to me sitting her on my lap "of course I remembered I will never forget it been five years now" I could tell that she was very happy as I hold her close

we stayed like that for a couple minutes

"I have a surprise for you" I whispered in her ear as she got off my lap so I can get up "and what will that be" I walked over to the desk and grabbed the box then went back over to the bed and sat back down "you have to open it and see" she took the box from me and opened it and saw the choker that I got for her "this is the one I showed you at the beginning of this year" she pulled the choker out and looked at it smiling "I know that I thought of getting it for you for our five year anniversary since I knew you always talked about it" I started to rub the back of my neck as she put it on "I love it thank you"

I smiled as I stood up racing out of hand for her "why don't you go get dress I have something else planned for us" she took my hand so I could help her out of bed she went over to the dresser and grabbed her clothes and went to go jump in the shower after she was done I did her hair and we went to go grab some breakfast before we left

"well good morning everyone" as we enter I saw Vi, Caitlyn, Ekko, and mom sitting at the table "well good morning I see you're back" me and Powder sat down as mom gave us a smile "yes it was fun spending the day with my dad but he had a friend come over so I didn't wanted to bother them plus I didn't want to miss today" I put my hand on Powders leg "what's so special about today" Vi had a confused look as we waiting for the food to "oh today is me and Powder's five year anniversary of us being together" powder later her head on my shoulder as I moved my hand to be around her waist "wow five years that's a long time" Ekko Looks surprised but happy for

"yeah I thought she forgotten last night but apparently she didn't" I put my other hand on my heart with a hurt expression on "I would never do that you should know that I do this every year stay up late or don't come home until a certain time I think you would have go used to it by now" Powder started to laugh as she lift her head up "I know I know but you said you were spending the night with your dad I just thought" I gave her a smile as I moved her a little bit closer "I know what you thought don't worry but you know I have to have a decoy so I can get you something without you expecting it I always do that" powder started to laugh as she's laid her head back on my shoulder "I know I should get used to it by now but a part of me still worries"

after a few minutes of just talk the food came out and we ate after we finished eating mom pulled me to the side to talk to me

"so what do you have planned for today" I looked around making sure that powder couldn't hear me "i'm taking her somewhere special for a picnic at lunchtime I know she'll love it I already have everything set up I've been planning this for a week now it was kind of difficult with everything else going on but I was sneaking out during the night to go there" mom started to laugh and shake her head "is that where you've been going we see you leave the palace in the middle of the night we don't even know where you're going so what time are you planning this anyways" I smiled and looked around again to make sure she couldn't hear me "around lunchtime we're gonna be spending the night there I already have some stuff packed for lunch and dinner for us so you don't have to worry" mom gave me a smile as she patted my shoulder "all right good luck then" I put my hand on mom's and gave her a simple smile "don't worry you know she loves my surprises"
