3 weeks later....

Taehyung watched the rain from the coffee house. The tiny droplets were scattered on the closed window amongst which he could see his gloomy reflection.

Its been weeks since he has seen or talked to Jungkook properly. Everytime he would call Jungkook would make up some excuse and hung up quickly. Whenever he saw him he would show a fake smile and move across him

Taehyung tried to talk to him but Jungkook never really gave him a chance. There were even days when Jungkook didnt come home at all.

Despite of leaving in the same building,so close, he could never really talk to Jungkook. This proved that such distances dont matter what matters is the distance between the hearts

If your hearts are close you can overcome any distance but if its not you will never be able to overcome the distance even if you are living in the same room.

Jimin quietly placed the coffee infront of him "so he didnt contact at all?"

Taehyung slowly shook his head while taking the coffee. Jimin had never seen his friend in such a gloomy mood, "he is such a douche"

"I dont know jmin, i am just confused" he looks outside the window

"Someday i feel so angry at him for ghosting me like this and someday i just feel like he is in a trouble or something and not telling me about it" he sighs

"Do you think he was being fake?" Jimin asks carefully

Taehyung smirks still looking outside
"A person can be fake but can his eyes be fake?"

"I have seen love in his eyes" Taehyung recalls the night on the hill under the stars. Jungkook's doe eyes flashes infront of him "his eyes can not lie and that is the only thing that has kept me hopeful. His eyes assures me that I am not wrong, he does love me. But..." Taehyung sighs and takes a sip.

Jimin doesnt know how to console his friend "should I talk to Yoongi?"

"Don't Jimin. I don't want anyone to think I am being desperate....just
.....just let it go" saying that he takes his bag and walks away.

He opens his purple umbrella and starts walking down the road lost in his own thoughts.

He suddenly sees two young boys jumping up and down on a puddle  under the rain.they both were holding hands and laughing their heart out. They looked so happy and content.

Seeing them laugh like that Taehyung also started to smile.

Slowly he started seeing the faces of those boys change and gets replaced by totally different faces.

Those faces look very familiar to him but he can't understand where he has seen it before

He watches as the two boys are jumping with joy and giggling

Unknowingly he walks towards them

He stands there like a mannequin as if he has been hypnotised...

"Taehyung-ah"

A voice rings in his ear

He quickly looks back to see where the voice is coming from

Taehyung drops the umbrella and runs towards the voice

"Taehyung-ah"

It calls again

Taehyung is now running on the road all drenched in rain but he is not bothered by it he is totally under the spell of that voice.

He keeps running unaware of where he is going or what is going on around him the only thing he could feel is that voice.

Taehyung was so lost he didn't even notice that he was running on the main road filled with cars and trucks and bikes

Such a car was about to hit him when someone pulls him to the pavement

"TAEHYUNG!!" Jungkook holds him

Taehyung tries to get out of the hold,still in his trance "he is calling me"

"TAEHYUNG!No one is calling you! Look at me!" Jungkook tried to move his face but it was fixed to its side looking towards the source of the voice

"Taehyung please look AT ME" he shakes his hard which finally makes him look at Jungkook

Both the men were under the rain now, the yellow light from the street light falling on them

"Why are you here?" Taehyung whispers

"What?"

"Why are you here???" Taehyung angrily removes himself from Jungkook

"Taehyung list-"

"No Jungkook you cannot just walk in and walk out whenever you want. If you want to leave me alone leave me alone once and for all please. Dont jus-"

Taehyung couldn't finish the sentence as his brain couldn't handle the pressure any more. The pressure of dilusion, confusion and panic.

He starts to sway sideways and was about to hit the solid pavement but Jungkook catches him right on time

"Tae" he sits on the floor with the unconscious man in his arm

Jungkook tries to wake him up but he fails..

"Forgive me Taehyung. I had to distance myself from you for your sake. I am sorry I am so so sorry "

Under the yellow street light in the middle of the rain he takes his lover in his arm and weeps quietly.
