Its around 1am Jungkook is still in his office. He looks at the empty desk beside him, which belongs to Hobi. Its been 3 days since they have spoken to each other and Jungkook really wants to. This is the first time he is keeping a secret from him but he had nothing else to do.
Sighing deeply he returns to the police report which contained the details of Soomin's death. He carefully examines the picture that contained the picture of her neck. The memories from that night hits him, when that man wrapped the rope around his neck. He takes the picture and goes infront of the mirror. The marks on his neck are a bit vague now but its still there. He realizes that as he was grabbed from the back the marks are round and not V shaped which usually is when a person hangs himself. Then he looks at Soomin's picture....he looks back at his neck....

Just then his phone rings
"Jungkook" a franatic Namjoom speaks from the other side
"Namjoon? Whats wrong? Is Taehyung ok??" Panic starts to grip him as he speaks
"No...Jungkook...i cant find him he is not at home"
Without hearing further Jungkook hangs up rushing outside the building.
He calls at different places while driving, to see if Taehyung was there but all in vain. He drives fast towards their house but just then a voice appears on the walkie talkie
"I am near the 5th Avenue Ally, send backup. A man is down the attacker is still here. Send backup, I repeat send backup"
"Hobi" Mumbles Jungkook. He really hopes that whatever he is thinking is wrong but his gut feeling was saying otherwise. Trusting his instincts he turns his car and drives toward the said address.
As Jungkook reaches near the area he sees Taehyung and immidiately comprehends that his instict was right.
Oh! How the man wished it wasnt.
It gets worse as he sees his best friend is right behind Taehyung, chasing him, yelling at him to stop.
Without wasting a second Jungkook goes behind them
Taehyung reaches the end of the cliff, Hobi behind him with the gun aimed.
"Hobi" Jungkook screams.
Hobi looks at his friend but the gun is still pointed at the criminal
"Jungkook, thank god! I think we have the murderer we have been looking for months. I am sure this is the monster this is HIM!" yells hobi
Jungkook immediately runs to Hobi.
"Hobi put the gun down!" He Begs, his voice full of desperation
"What are you saying?? I saw him kill that guy! I am telling you he is that murderer" Hobi is adamant and holds on to the gun strongly.
"Hobi" Jungkook looks back at Taehyung who is standing still at the edge...his back towards them. He is not moving or doing anything because he was deep in his thoughts totally oblivion to the conversation that's going on
"Jungkook we need to shoot" Hobi was about to when Jungkook grabs the gun
"What are you doing " he yells struggling to get the gun out of his friend's grip
"You CANNOT SHOOT HIM!!"
"WHY NOT?? HE IS THE MURDERER HE IS THE MONSTER!!"
"BECAUSE THAT'S TAEHYUNG!!"
Immediately Hobi stops, totally stops. His grip around the gun softens. He looks into Jungkook's eyes which is now filled with sorrow and pain
Is this a joke? Hobi wonders but no it can't be his friend is not that kind. But Taehyung?
"What?" Hobi whispers but before Jungkook could respond the sound of a loud splash reaches his ear...he abruptly turns and doesn't see Taehyung. The place where he was standing is empty now
"No No No No No " he screams and runs towards the edge
As realisation hits him that what has happened he jumps without even thinking once. He jumps to save his love
"Jungkook nooo" Hobi screams but it was too late his friend has already jumped
Jungkook's body hits the water but he swims up to take in air and look for Taehyung.
He swims around to look for his love and suddenly he notices the top of his head. He swims fast towards that spot and goes underwater
Jungkook sees Taehyung drowning peacefully under the water. He was not struggling or anything he was just drowning down as if he had given up.

Jungkook goes towards him and grabs him. The man was not responding his eyes were closed and his body still.
Without wasting a second Jungkook takes him and swam upwards. As soon as they reached the top he inhaled loudly for air. He looked back at Taehyung who was unconscious in his arm and then he swam towards the shore.
Jungkook placed the unconscious body of Taehyung on the pebbles. He tried to wake him up but no response then he started to press his chest which resulted in him coughing out the water. After a while Taehyung opened his eyes.
It took him a while to realise where he was and then his eyes met Jungkook's.
"Jungkook" he whispers his voice still raspy.
Jungkook didnt bother to ask him what or how or why... he just grabbed him and brought him to a tight embrace
"Thank god thank god thank god " he kept mumbling while holding on to him so tightly as if his life depended on it.
Jungkook never felt this relieved in his life. The moment he almost lost Taehyung kept appearing in front of his eyes. He just couldn't imagine loosing that man forever...no he couldn't. Jungkook started breathing loudly because all this while he felt like he was not.
"Jungkook " Taehyung whispers softly
He let's him out of the embrace and looks into Taehyung's eyes
Taehyung touches his hand "I need you to do something"
