I got a chapter out and it's not even Saturday yet, take that writers block!
When the background crew gets a bit fed up with having to get up early in the morning for missions.

PinkPuppy: ughhhhh
ClumsyOtter: wasn't...*yawns*...asleep
PinkPuppy: I've been awake for ages but I reeeeally don't wanna get up
PinkPuppy: I'm reading a book and it just got to the good part
ClumsyOtter: sometimes I wish the sea could wait until a little later in the morning for its emergencies
ClumsyOtter: 10am is a reasonable time
ClumsyOtter: 5:30 is not
PinkPuppy: who's going
ClumsyOtter: my feet are telling me to get up, but my brain is not and I'm not sure who's going to win this morning :S

CarrotQueen: it might as well be, because it's kind of hard to stay asleep when the Captain is standing right outside my room yelling
CarrotQueen: is no one gonna turn off the Octo-Alert, it's so loud it's hurting my head

CarrotQueen: oh never mind guys, apparently the radar was just showing a lost creature or something
CarrotQueen: the dream team are heading out
CarrotQueen: I covered for you because I'm a good friend
ClumsyOtter: I lost my slippers too, so it's probably for the best :P
PinkPuppy: the dream team?
CarrotQueen: yes
ClumsyOtter: then what are we, the not-quite-dream-but-still-pretty-awesome-team? XD
PinkPuppy: I guess so
CarrotQueen: aaand they're gone
CarrotQueen: at least you two don't get woken up whenever Kwazii wants to go for a drive in the Gup B at 3am :P
PinkPuppy: and all the false alarms too...
CarrotQueen: the number of times Shellington gets excited over something sciencey and presses the button, or sits on it or falls asleep on it XD
ClumsyOtter: yeaaaah sorry ;)
CarrotQueen: or when Dashi obsesses over every tiny blip on the radar in case it's a tornado or something... ;)
PinkPuppy: or when one of Tweak's inventions go haywire and hits the button ;)
ClumsyOtter: the alert scares you so much if you're not expecting it XD
