SO THE CRACKHEADEDNESS DOES CONTINUE, I STILL HAVE COVID AFTER A WEEK, I WANT TO GO EARN MONEY

This is gonna be about the F1 PR/Promo Video world, and basically just flirting with content creation
-----------------------------------------------

Being involved with the Mercedes-AMG F1 social media team was often a... Challenging task. Lewis wasn't always up for Grill the Grid or work with the F1 YouTube channel which George loved, George didn't want to attend all of magazine shoots, which Lewis relished in, Toto was always indifferent until it involved his and Susie's son, Jack, the paddock prince (he was everyone's favourite).

Poor (Y/N) (L/N) was thrown into the taller Brit's social team, the managing directors and social media managers deeming her a good fit because 'they're the same age, youth gets youth'. What they didn't realise, that besides existing on social media, the young woman was an introvert, and was actually hoping to only do the content administration and editing part.

George took a shine to her, annoying her daily sending memes that Lando had created during their his streaming time, no matter the hour where they were for the races, as well as playfully nudging her into doing things she was unsure of, such as posting content with him, pulling her into the debrief and challenge videos, hijacking the Mercedes Instagram account when on the drivers parades, whatever he could do to make her laugh or send her into a tizzy, he did.
He would apologise if he went too far, and she always forgave him, admitting it was more fun that she expected, but begged him to never do that particular thing again.

An activity that she wasn't looking forward to during the filming of the week off between Austria and France was a race against George, Lewis, Toto and their social team leads. (Y/N) was asked to be involved, the Brit's blue eyes begged for her to race in his team, it was after all only a lawnmower race around a single lap of Silverstone, but the fact it was going to be filmed made her very anxious. What if she fell? What if George broke his nose? What if Toto wasn't impressed with her performance and decided to fire her because he felt like it?

The possibilities for an anxious introvert were dumbfounded and yet completely plausible.

What didn't help is that George, Mr Consistent, was consistently flirting. He knew (Y/N) was uncomfortable with unwanted attention from other mechanics and drivers (at least those outside of the Merc garage), almost terrified of anyone who approached her, and to keep the attention off of her, and dialed on to him, he began grabbing her hand, resting his hand on her hip, typical male dominance things, typically seen in either the wild or pitlane. She had never admonished him for it, her face did flush, but she usually said thank you, gave a quick hug, and then swiftly yondered away.

Which brings us on to the day before. They had arrived back to their homes in Brackley, George was gracious to offer his media buddy a lift as she was on his way home. "George..." She mumbled, capturing his attention. "I am so scared about tomorrow."

His baby blue eyes softened, showing his concern for his passenger. "Why so, (Y/N)? It's just a fun video!" He offered a pleasant smile, hoping it would calm her down.

Newsflash, it didn't. "I'm racing for you, against Lewis, Angela, Toto and Susie. What's not to be scared about?!" She asked rhetorically, getting a soft laugh out of George.

"Oh, darling," he rested a hand on his thigh, softly stroking his thumb to comfort her. "It's just a fun video. You won't even meet any of the preposterous possibilities that are running around in that intricate brain of yours."

(Y/N) flushed a soft pink, his hand was warm and comforting, the pet name was still an adjustment after a few months, not to mention his ability to read her like a children's book. "George, I don't think you understand how much I hate attention. Have you never noticed how I feel when someone in the other garages comes up to me?"
