"What are we?"

Paris was taken aback by Five's abrupt question before he sighed and shook his head. He was equally as confused but, he knew it was not right to chase after someone who is in love with a mannequin and who is legally 58-years-old.

"I've been giving it so much thought," Paris hadn't really thought a lot, "but, you are still head over heels over a mannequin. You are in love with the idea of me in the future where we survived the apocalypse. I am not that person, Five. You've lived your years, I am barely living my teenaged ones."

The two stayed quiet and Klaus, from a distance, winced at the awkward silence that came after. He was both amused and not amused at the sight, but, he could simply "try" not to listen.

"I understand," Five breathed out. "I... yeah, I am in love with the you from the future. I don't even know you now. But, I'm hoping we can be friends. You're the only sane one, other than Poet, and I can stand you both."

"It's fine by me. Let's just move on from here. I know it will be hard to do so, but little steps," Paris gave him a smile and Five smiled back, the two shaking hands. Though, they all stopped when the lights from the building had turned off, causing a state of confusion in every person.

When they got turned back on, Klaus then stepped forward.

"Hey. What do you two say we get outta here, huh?"

While they stayed on the lobby, Poet had been walking to Viktor and Allison's shared bedroom. She had struggled finding it in the first place, but she knew where her dear friend was by the loud, overwhelming thoughts pertaining to her.

Knocking on the door, Poet came inside to see Allison facing the ceiling with tears falling down her face. She sighed and shook her head, closing the door shut behind her and moving to sit next to her on the edge of the bed.

"Hey," Poet mumbled and Allison raised her eyebrows to acknowledge her. "How are you?" Allison didn't respond and Poet sighed, understanding her. "I can you help you with the pain a little. But, this will just be temporary, not permanently."

Allison now looked at her, curious about her actions. But it seems as though she forgot about her powers because when Poet's eyes glowed with red and her fingers now had a red hue surrounding them, she was surprised.

As Allison was now in a hallucination type of state, Poet watched the woman smile with tears forming in her eyes. She knew this wouldn't be a healthy thing to do to a friend in mourning, but she hoped it would bring her a little bit of peace at least in order to feel comforted. Her intentions were in the right place. She knew how much Allison had suffered through the 60s.
