Sierra's POV:
I was so excited! In less than an hour that dude was coming over.
"Hey, everything ok?" Demi questioned noticing that I was continuously tapping my feet.
"Yeah. Some dude is going with me you to the bonfire tonight."
"Cool, sounds like fun. What's his name?"
"His name? I don't know."
"You don't know his name?"
"That's what I said."
"Oh, alright. So, I guess you don't want me walking down there with you?"
"Not really."
He walked up to the door and started knocking out. I ran over, almost falling off of my bed.
"Hey."
"Hey. You ready?"
"Yeah."
We walked out and said "so, I never got your name."
"It's Jake."
"Cool, that's a nice name."
"Thank you, and yours is?"
"Sierra. Sierra Lovato. I'm a Lovato."
"I got that."
"Yeah, Demi's my mother technically."
"Yeah, I got that too."
"Who's famous person are you a son of?"
"I'm not." He said as if he wasn't sure how her supposed to answer that.
"Oh."
"Sorry."
"It's no big deal. The last Jake I dated raped me."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
I just smiled at him.
We both sat down on a log together and started roasting marshmallows. There about ten people gather around the camp fire. We started singing some Demi Lovato songs (because she's awesome), a few Taylor Swift, and Selena Gomez. It was a lot of fun.
"Hey, thanks for coming with me. I had a lot of fun."
"Me too, we should do this again sometime."
"Yeah. I don't know."
I ran all the way back to the cabin.
"Hey. How'd it go?"
"Fine."
I just wish someone would tell me what to do. The last Jake I dated raped me. Maybe dating him is not a good idea.
"His name's Jake." I said.
"It is?"
"Yeah, he's not the the same guy. I just don't know if dating him is the right thing to do. What should I do?"
"Does he make you happy?"
"He's not the son of a famous person."
"Sierra, honey. Why does that matter?"
"Ugh, you're not even helping me. Should I continue to date him?"
"Only if he makes you happy."
"Ugh, I just want you to tell me what to do."
"Sierra, I can't make that decision for you."
"Why not?"
"It's your feelings. Only you can know if he's right for you."
"I hate when you're right."
"I think I'm gonna stay together with him."
"Alright, I think that that is a good idea."
I just smiled at her.
