Next Day:

Demi's POV:

"Sierra, time for school! The bus is here."

Sierra ran down the stairs.

"Oh, and one more thing, you're not going to school today."

"What, but you just said..."

"I know what I said, but we need to talk."

Sierra just stared at me blankly.

"I've been getting complaints from some of your teachers."

"Like what?" Her arms folded.

"For example, you get out of your seat in the middle of lessons. Your always on your phone and you are constantly talking to random people. You are also failing all of your classes except P.E., which is a good thing."

She continued to stare at me blankly, as if it was no big deal.

"Please go get in the car."

"I though you said I'm not going to school today?"

"You're not."

"Then where are we going?"

"The doctor's office."

I got Emily out her crib and put her in her car seat.

I drove off and minutes later we arrived at the doctor's. The entire ride here was complete silence.

"This is screwed up. What'd I do?" Sierra said.

I didn't respond.

We went inside, told them her name, and moments later the doctor called her in.

I went with her, so I could describe the symptoms.

"Alright, I think I've figured out what's
going on. Sierra can you please go wait in the lobby."

"Your daughter has ADHD."

I just stared at him. I ken something was wrong.

"I'm going to prescribe her some Straterra. It's a non-stimulant medication that should help control her symptoms better and help her focus better. You can pick it up at Dillon's tomorrow."

I nodded.

Sierra's POV:

I wonder what they're talking about. They've been in there for a while.

Demi walked out and we got in the car.

"So?" I said.

"You have ADHD."

"Oh."

"Tomorrow you're going to begin taking medication."

"Oh, I don't want to."

"We'll, that's not really your choice. Sorry."

We drove off.

I hate this. At least there's a reason why I suck at everything. This is so fucked up! I can't wait till we get home. I just want to be ALONE!!! My thoughts sounded so loud, for moment I thought I was saying them out loud.

Moments later we arrived home.

Demi unlocked the door and I ran up to my room.

Thanks for reading and sorry if you have ADHD. I'm not trying to make it sound like it's the end of the world. I have ADHD and this is how I used to feel. Still do sometimes.
