Once in front of the door all the confident he had gathered disappeared.

What if she didn't want to see him ?

What if she finally realised he wasn't worth it ?

He wasn't ready yet to face her but he knew he had to confront her at some point so he took a deep breath and finally opened the door.

He expected to see her asleep on the bed but she wasn't.

She was seated on the bed, her back to him as she watched the wall in front of her in silent.

He wanted to call out to her but his voice wouldn't come out.

He forced his feet to go toward her instead.

And he instantly could feel his eyes fill with tears at the sight.

She was crying.

Even after a few hours.

She was still crying and he hated himself for it.

He put the water and towel down before geting on his knees with trembling hands.

He didn't dare look up, afraid of what emotions her eyes would show.

He couldn't speak.

What would he say ?

That he was a crazy guy who didn't know how to control his emotions so hit her ?

It didn't mather, he did it and it was wrong.

There was no defending himself and his actions.

Just like his mother did he slowly took the glass that were still in her feet.

She didn't flinch at his touch and he felt relieved over it.

One by one he got them out.
Got the towel put it in water and cleaned the blood.

Before putting bandages around them.

And then silence for a good few minute where he needed to gather his strength to look her in the eyes.

He knew what was going to happen once he did.

He meet her eyes and he broke down.

He couldn't hold it anymore.

Still on his knee as if begging he cried along with her.

" I'm sorry...." He said his voice at the verge of breaking.

" I'm so sorry...."

She stood still as tears left her eyes and it was tearing him apart.

Clenching his hands around the fabric of her dress he put his forehead on her knees.

Begging to be forgiven.

Forgiven over being fucked up mentally.

Forgiven over not being good enough.
