What the flip flap quack.

I literally had to shield my eyes from the brightness of the room. The floor was an industrial white marble, making little glints appear everytime the light from the gold chandelier would shine on it.

The walls, like the lobby were fully decorated in the floral wallpaper and the tv in the room was a shiny black that complimented the matte black headboards.

The room was a mix of expensive. The colors ranging from gold to even soft, velvet red pillows.

I really didn't want to even glimpse at the bathroom until Jungkook got here so he could catch me when my knees buckled and I totally passed out.

Even now I had to hold onto the night stand that also advertised the matte black.

I slowly sat on the large king sized bed in the room, scared to even cause a single wrinkle in the sheets.

All of a sudden the door opened and in trudged an exhausted Jungkook. He took his shoes off, dropped his bag on the floor near the stainless steal mini fridge and flopped on the bed, causing multiple pillows to fall onto the ground.

I almost shoved him off the bed but I knew how tired he was. Taehyung had told me he didn't rest at all on the plane because of the stress the tour was causing him.

So instead my fingers threaded through his soft brown hair, sighs of relief erupted from his throat as he noticeably relaxed further into the mattress.

"It's really beautiful here," I mumbled, watching the lights of the busy city. And if you squinted hard enough, you could see the eiffel tower.

A giant amidst the normal.

"And we've only seen the hotel," Jungkook whispered, sleep overtaking the boy.

"Hey Koo," I called quietly. He cracked an eye open and hummed.

"Uh...how early do you have to get up tomorrow?" I asked, secretly crossing my fingers.

"I think we have to be in the lobby by," he paused to yawn. "10?"

I nodded, nudging the boy to sit up. He groaned but complied as I helped him take off his jacket.

Thankfully he was already wearing comfy shorts and a plain tshirt for the flight. Unlike Jimin who decided to wear skinny jeans and a stylish sweater, matched with a beanie and sunglasses.

I slid off his socks as well as he snuggled into the sheets.

However at the moment I wasn't really tired. I had slept the whole plane flight with Yoongi but I had no doubt he also passed out in his bed as soon as he got to his room.

So I decided to find one of the boys who was awake.

I exited the hotel room, getting a weird sense of deja vu.

"Nows who's rooms were who's?" I wondered out loud. That was until I saw Beau come out of one of the rooms with a pile of towels and sheets.

"Beau?"

At his name, the old man looked up and smiled a friendly smile.

"And how may I help you miss?"

"I don't know if you will be able to help..."

"Wouldn't hurt to ask," he put the towels and sheets on the bottom of a beautiful crystal edged cleaning cart. At this point I wouldn't be surprised to see an Ariana Grande ice sculpture.

"Well I'm looking for a Kim Taehyung's room?"

The man thought before smiling.

"He's not in his room miss. But I did see him down in the lobby just moments ago. It looked like he was heading to the rec room," Beau nodded as if telling himself that.

Ofcourse Taehyung would explore immediately. No one loves Paris more than him.

I mean besides Ladybug and Cat Noir...

I thanked Beau and headed straight for the elevator, pushing down on the crystallized 'L' button for lobby.

The 17 floors went by quickly I knew but it felt like forever just watching the numbers tic down.

Finally the Lobby came into view as the doors opened. I walked out and started looking for signs to lead me to the Rec Room.

However I noticed all the signs were in French and a small English translation beneath it.

How the fuck did he find the rec room?

I turned down a long hall that had signs pointing to the Internet Cafe, Pool house, Garden room, Social hours, Exercise room, Cocktail group, and...Rec Room!

I quickly paced down the hall till I came to the large, gold trimmed entrance. Inside was a pool table, a few poker tables, the game where you try to get the ring onto the metal piece, an empty bar, and a sliding glass door that led to a large, luscious patio.

However the room was empty. A wave of confusement and worry passed me as I began to panic.

Did he get lost? Was Beau wrong? Did he mistake someone else for Taehyung? Or....Sora.

I shook my head. I didn't even want to think about that.

A noise from outside brought my attention back to the empty room and- the glass door.

I passed through the room to the door and sure enough, outside was Taehyung. I opened the door and stepped out. It was surprisingly chilly. As soon as I did step out However Taehyung started walking up a flight of outdoor stairs to what I assumed was a large balcony.

I thought about calling out to him but decided to follow him instead.

I started up the large stairs. Could you guess what it was made out of?! Yup you probably got it. Marble!

Laughing at my own self, I made it to the top of the stairs. Taehyung sat peacefully on the wide rail of the balcony, staring out at the eiffel tower and city beneath it.

The sky was a pink, purple, and orange hue and the lack of light on the balcony made Taehyung seem like a beautiful silhouette.

I walked up to him quietly and sat beside him on the rail.

He smiled but it dropped once I sat on the edge of the balcony.

Immediately he moved closer and held me in his arms.

"Tae I can sit just fine," I protested but smiled at his caring personality.

"I don't want to take any chances..." he whispered.

He was sitting with one leg hanging over the balcony and the other hanging over the drop as he cradled me. My back was firmly set against his chest as I laid my head back on his shoulder.

We watched the sunset in a comfortable silence before a thought dawned on me.

"Tae how did you find your way to the rec room?"

"Gut instinct," he mumbled against my hair. I smiled. Sometimes Taehyung's gut instinct was the best thing to go with in a tough situation. And it always turned out well.

"What were you thinking about? Before I showed up," I asked.

He took a deep breath before exhaling, his breath tickling my neck.

"Jungkook."

"Huh? Why? What's wrong with Jungkook?" I asked quickly.

He shook his head before tightening his hold around me.

"No its nothing bad. Well now it is but..." he trailed off.

"But what?" I pressed, tilting my head back so I could make eye contact.

"Tomorrow is Jungkook's birthday."

"Yeah what about it?"

"Vai has the same birthday."
