Next morning

Namjoon walked in the King's room. He looked at the King who was staring out of the

window.

Namjoon: My lord, you called me?

-Jimin turned his head towards Namjoon and nodded his head.

Jimin: How are you, Namjoon?

Namjoon: Pardon?

-The commander questioned the king nervously as he couldn't believe his ears. Jimin: *sighs* I know you're devastated by Rose' death, Kim.

-Namjoom remained silent while staring at the floor. Jimin: Should I consider that you forgot to give Jennie the sleeping potion before the wedding?

-Namjoon gulped as the King walked near him.

Jimin stared at Namjoon's nervous face. Jimin: I told you to keep watch on Taehyung. I guess you didn't follow my orders,

Namjoon: Forgive me, your majesty. I wasn't in my right sense. I am okay now. I will

keep watch on him

Jimin: I didn't call you here to assign some work, Namjoon.

Namjoon: Then what's the matter, King?

Namjoon furrowed his eyebrows when he noticed Sehun coming inside the King's

room.

Jimin: I am taking your authority, Namjoon.

Namjoon: W-why, King? Did I do any mistake?

-Jimin let out a husky chuckle and walked near the scared commander.

Jimin: You think that the King of Busan is dumb, Namjoon? Namjoon: N-no, your majesty.

Jimin: Something is going in this palace. Everyone is hiding something from me,

Kim. And I suspect you too.

-Namjoon stayed silent and nodded his head.

Jimin: I know you're devastated with the death of Rose, Namjoon. I need you to take

break from your duty.

Namjoon: B-but, my lord! My mind is not that much weak that I will let her death affect

me.

Jimin: So, your mind isn't weak? Huh? Namjoon: Ofcourse, it isn't.

Jimin: Then tell me, what were you talking with prince last night?

-Namjoon froze as he felt King's dark gaze on him.

Namjoon: It was nothing, King. He wanted to ask about Rose as his brother is quite miserable in condition.

-Jimin nodded his head, still wasn't satisfied with his excuse.

Jimin: If you think that you been loyal to me for whole this time, then you will keep your batch. And if you don't then you will give that batch and the keys of dungeon to Sehun

Namjoon stared at his batch and then at the King. Jimin: If something happens in this palace, you'll be responsible for it, Kim.

Cause you are hiding something from me.

Namjoon let out a sigh before pulling out his batch from his shirt and gave it to Sehun.

Namjoon: If you don't trust me, then there's nothing use of being the commander.

Jimin raised his eyebrows as his former commander went out of his room.

The King looked at Sehun.

Jimin: Y'know what to do?
