Beep. Beep. Beep. I heard that repeatedly, it was aggravating to my ears. My eyes felt heavy as I try to open them. With the little amount of energy I had, I succeeded in opening them.
My eyes was met with white light, causing me to squint them right away. When I had eventually adjusted to the sudden brightness, I was able to confirm where I was.
The hospital.
My parents must have found me laying helpless on my bed, and brought me in here. I felt someone holding my hands and I looked towards the direction to see my parents.
"Sweetie." My mom started, cupping my left cheek. Her eyes was red and teary.
"M-Mom." My voice came out as a whisper.
"My Goodness, I was so scared."Her voice held pain, she must have been so devastated.
"How are you feeling my daughter?" My father asked.
"I'm feeling pains. Just not too much." I answered. My tummy aches. It felt like I had been stabbed on.
"Okay. Do not worry much, the doctor will be here soon." My father replied.
"You will be fine." My Mom says with a small smile plastered on her face.
A little while later, the doctor came in with a nurse by his side. He said some few things, telling me things I didn't quite understand. I planned on asking my parents what he said later.
When I complained of being in pains, he prescribed some painkillers for me. When all was done, he left.
"Now that you've met with the doctor, all is done. The only important thing for you to do is rest. When I say rest, I really mean it." My father says sternly.
My mom nods in agreement to what he said. "Your father is right. You need absolute rest. If you ever need anything, don't hesitate. I'm here for you, like always."
"Okay." I replied smiling.
"Better. By the way, Grace and Tobias was here. They left not too long ago, I had to force them to their home. But they sent their greetings."
"Oh, okay. I'll make sure to talk to them when I'm okay physically." I say in response.
I was happy they came by. Most especially Grace, I never thought she would be here. Looks like things are sorted out now, I think.
My thoughts were interrupted by mom. "And oh! I almost forgot! Tyler was here the whole time. Right from the house to here. He only left a while ago to change. Seeing as you're awake, I texted him and he'll be back any moment from now." My mom smiled.
What the—he was here?
I didn't know how to respond to that. He was here the whole time with my parents and friends. Grace and Tyler can't stand each other, I could imagine her glaring at him. And him, likewise.
"Isn't he sweet darling?" I nodded with a fake smile.
I really don't wanna see his face, he made me go through a lot. I wish he could just disappear and never to be found.
