It was night time in Metropolis, and Zee was preparing her makeup for her and her father's show tonight.
Zee: [inhales] Ready, Karen?
Karen: Uh. I.. I guess so.
Zee: Let's begin.
Karen: [gasp]
Zee: Foundation. Shade and highlight. Powder.
Karen: [sneezes]
Zee: Blush. Eye shadow. Mascara. Lipstick. Ta-da!
Ben: Wow.
Tom: Yeah, wow.
Karen: Oh. Oh. Um.
It turns out, that Zee over did it with makeup.
Zee: [scoffs] I know what you're thinking, Karen, but I've been performing in front of crowds for years. The secret is to look exaggerated up close, so you look fabulous from afar. Trust me, I've been doing this forever.
Ben: With that much makeup on, you really overdid it.
Jun: Yeah.
Titano (ball mode): Um, little one.
Karen: What's wrong, Titano?
Titano (ball mode): [points to her forehead] You got a little...
Karen looks at the mirror to see...
Karen: [screams] What is that? [nervously] I... Is that a zit?
Ben: Really?
Karen: Zee, you have to help me.
Zee: Oh. Sweet Karen, please, this is nothing to panic about.
Alex: Speak for yourself.
Karen: I just...
Zee: We all go through changes at a certain point of life.
Ben: Yeah! It's true.
Zee: Indeed, it can be uncomfortable. Confusing, even.
Karen: But I-
Zee: Why, I remember when I first had to deal with something like this...
She then told Karen her entire story of how and her father performed, her gaining her magic abilities and hiding them, thinking her father will think different of her, and then finally seeing them, becoming proud of her new gained ability, and the performance at Abracadabrapalooza.
She was now dressed a fancy pink assistant outfit, making Tom blush.
Zee: It was that performance at Abracdabrapalooza that brought us here today. There was a booking agent in the crowd who got us our first town. From there we traveled the country steadily improving our act, and that led to this residency at the casino. We never could have done any of it not for that show. So you see, Karen, the secret is to seem strange at first, but oftentimes change can be a very good thing.
Karen: So... can I borrow your makeup or not?
Zee: [groans]
Tom: [blushing] I-I-I...
Jun: Are you okay, Tom?
Tom: [blushing] Yeah... Its just...
D'angelo: You like what Zee is wearing?
Tom: [blushing] [nods]
Zee: [looking for her bow] Where's my bow?
Turns out, Thunder was playing with it. By pulling and chewing at it.
