chapter 48

it was decently quiet up here concerning there is loud music, chatter and laughter. everyone might be here, yes, but glatt and technoblade isn't. but that's fine. they can't bring technoblade back and they don't know about glatt.

there was two pairs of footsteps racing down the hallway.
"ghostbur, wait!"
one of the people yell. it didn't really bother me. I found some scissors on the desk and started to swing them around my finger.

my mask was off since I didn't think anyone would come in. but that was obviously proven wrong once three people came busting through my door.

there stood ghostbur bringing me into a hug, Tubbo and Tommy standing next to each other. I was able to cover my eyes back up with my mask before they came in.

"be careful ghostbur, I have scissors."
he quickly broke the hug and held the blue crystal in his hands.
"take some!"
he said joyous. I was a bit confused but took it. it instantly turned blue as I laid on finer on it. I just chuckle as a few tears dripped from my eyes.

"o-oh. I-I'll get some m-more"
"it's fine, ghostbur."
"are you okay, Y/N?"
I looked back over to the blonde.
"yeah, I'm fine. I'm going to see Philza."

time passed like it was nothing. it was already inching closer to midnight. I didn't have time to stay here and blow out some candles. the window in my room was already open. it was practically begging me to just leave. so I did so. you think I would just leave this opportunity and be a flake to glatt to be here? yeah, no.

our spot where we meet isn't that far away so it would be pretty easy to find him.

"whoh. why do you look so fancy? you should've told me. I would've dressed up for this."
I laughed at his little joke. we both went to the flower field. we had a really calm conversation.

Author pov:

(I know I said it was only going to be Y/N pov now but I don't care. it's mostly going to be Y/N's pov and a few author's pov.)

while back at the party, it was midnight. everyone was freaking out because they couldn't find Y/N. lucky even tried to get XD to help find Y/N. it was a whole search party. they all started walking closer to the field that Y/N and glatt sat at.

Y/N pov:

I was fully oblivious of this. my head was placed on my knees as we talked. we only stopped talking when a sertain boy interrupted me.
"Y/N, who are you talking to?"
Ranboo asked me. I looked over to him to see everyone there.

(btw XD is just hiding in the trees or something so no one sees him.)

"o-oh uhh. no one."
I stumbled over my words and shot a smile back at Ranboo as I stood up.
"well come on. we need to blow out your candles."
fundy spoke.
"yeah..I'll be there in a minute"
they all left.

"what, it's your birthday?"
"yeah, sorry. I even forgot about it. you can come with me if you want!"
we both walked back to the house.

I blew out the candles and everyone cheered. everyone got drunk as I went back upstairs. glatt followed me. we continued our conversation there.

"so, you not going to party with your friends?"
he asked while taking a sip of beer.
"hmm? what friends? I'm already with one."

I chuckle at my own joke.
"in all seriousness, you should hang out with them. its your birthday. you should hang out with real people and not ghosts."
"but whyy. doing social activities are difficult."

"Y/N, look, I got more blue!"
we both looked over at the door to see ghostbur. he looked back at me and then at glatt.
"hello! I'm ghostbur. what's your name?"
he asked while floating to glatt. glatt also got up.

my brain just blanked as they talked. I then just go downstairs.
"Y/N. come over here!"
Niki called me over to her and a new person I didn't recognise.
"Y/N, this is Puffy. Puffy, this is Y/N. she used to be married to JSchlatt."
I tensed once she said JSchlatt.

"oh shoot. sorry I forgot about your relationship with him."
"what relationship?"
Puffy chimed in. her voice was soft and giving good motherly vibes.
"they went through a lot with schlatt. like abuse. but they didn't date. it wasn't that type of relationship."
"he tried to kill me."
i mumbled under my breath. only loud enough for them to hear. then I walked away.

"Eret! you look so beautiful."
Eret walked over to me.
"so do you."
"how have you been? its been so long. I missed you so much!"
I really did miss her. they were always kind but I never got to say that I forgive him for betraying me.
"I've been great! I've been living in my pride castle in the Greater Dream SMP."

we both just started to run our mouths about random stuff. then other people also joined in. we had games and dancing. maybe glatt was right. I should hang around my friends.

"Y/N, come here."
ghostbur said. I followed him up to. my room.
"I was meaning to give this to you. I remember alivebur wanted to give this to you before he died."
he pulled out a little ring that had a shimmering green crystal in the middle.

he dropped it in my hands as I started to tear up again. I hugged my ghost friend. he didn't hesitate to return it. I'm glad I found ghostbur. or he found me. I'm just glad we met. he's way better then Wilbur. Wilbur just went insane after he lost L'manburg. but he just blew it up. he didn't care if he got it back.

ghostbur only remembers good memories. but he still is sorry for what Wilbur did. ghostbur says that wilbur's limbo. he says that limbo is a place that you go to after you die in the SMP. wilbur's one is a subway.

that's it! that the party! so the ring I'm guessing is for Wilbur trying to propose to Y/N. or a 'promise' ring. the ring is related from my other book. I think Real_Dragon23 would know ;]
