A/N: I'll be doing the rules shown in the anime so playing moves like placing a monster card in defense mode will be shown. Because it'll be hard to track down exact cards used in 5DS to give to Scar, Grian, Joel and Etho, I'll be giving them cards that aren't exactly in 5DS but shown before and not after. So cards in Duel Monsters and GX are fair game. They will have a total of two fan made cards that are made by me but the rest will be actual cards. Nothing from Zexal, Arc-V, Vrains or Sevens. Just dropping this in for information. (Maybe some cards used in Duel Links?)
(Third Person PoV)
"Duel!"
Scar- 4000 LPs
Vs.
Sector Security #1- 4000 LPs
"I'll go first!" The first Sector Security said and drew a card.
He looked at his hand and grinned.
"I summon Gate Blocker (AK:100, DF:2000) in defense mode! That'll prevent you from using Speed Counters and then I place two cards face down and end my turn!" The first Sector exclaimed.
"Speed Counters? Rally didn't mentioned this while explaining how to play the card game," Grian said, holding on to dear life.
"Don't worry! I got a plan. I draw!" Scar drew from his deck and looked at his hand.
Ok not too bad. I could win this, he thought.
"I summon Dig Beak (ATK: 500, DF:800) in attack mode! And I place a card face down...that's all I can do," Scar explained.
"Really Scar!" Grian yelled.
"I can't do anything else! I don't have a strong enough monster in my deck to defeat Gate Blocker," Scar said.
"Heh. Fine by me, I draw!" The first Sector Security exclaimed.
"I tribute my Gate Blocker to special summon Gate Blocker 2(ATK: 100, DF: 3000) I also summoned another Gate Blocker and I activate my trap card, Speed Edge! During my standby stage, if I have more speed counters than you I can inflict damage to you equal to that difference times 300! I have two speed counters so you lose 600 life points!" He exclaimed.
4000 —> 3400 LPS
"SCAR!"
"Don't worry Grian, I have a plan!" Scar assured him.
Do I? He thought.
"I end my turn!"
"Ok my turn! I draw!" Scar drew a card and stared at it for a bit.
"I summon BOXer (AT: 1800, DF: 1000) onto the field! And then I active my spell card, Card Destruction. We both have to discard as many cards as we possibly can into the graveyard and we draw the same number of cards that we discard," he explained.
The first Sector Security grind his teeth in frustration.
He thought this Satellite scum would bring up an easy victory for him.
"I discard all but one card into my graveyard and I draw four cards," Scar discarded those cards and went to draw new cards from his deck.
"And I'll do the same!" The first Sector Security said and mimicked what Scar did.
