"WHY DO we have to be the ones running around for this guy?" Steve asks.

I grab a box of honeycomb cereal from the shelf and hand it to Steve.

"Okay, Steve. Let's just let him die of starvation or let him go out and get arrested for a murder he didn't commit. That sounds like a great idea, right?" I say with a straight face.

I continue to walk down the aisle of the grocery store and Steve speeds up to meet me, putting an arm around my waist.

"That's not what I mean, baby. I mean, why are we always the ones who have to do the running around? Why can't we just have some alone time." Steve says.

"We are having alone time."

"The kids are in the car outside."

"So?" I say, making my way to the register, "We do what we need to do to help our friends. Even if that means sacrificing our time together."

Steve crosses his arms over his chest and I pat his shoulder. I hand our items to the man at the register and smile. He gives me a smile back and noticeably looks me up and down.

"Did you find everything you needed?" The man asks.

I nod my head and smile.

"Yes, thank you." I say.

"Are you sure you didn't need any assistance today?" The man asks with a flirtatious tone.

I go to respond, then Steve puts his arm around me and pulls me behind him.

"No thanks, pal. We're actually in a hurry so if you could ring us up a bit faster that would be great." Steve says.

The man nods his head, quickly, then looks at me again.

"And if you could stop eyeing my girlfriend that would be fantastic." Steve sternly says.

The man looks back at the register quickly and rings us up. Steve pays, then snatches the bags from the man. We make our way out of the doors and Steve glares at the man as we get back in the car.

"What took you guys so long?" Dustin asks.

"I had to put some guy in his place." Steve says.

I shake my head and smile.

"I'm just too irresistible." I say, trying to hold in my laugh.

"Shut up." Steve jokes, letting out a small laugh.

We make our way to the boathouse and Dustin kicks open the door.

"Jesus!" Eddie exclaims from surprise.

"Delivery service." Dustin says.

Steve and I hold up the grocery bags and Eddie exhales from relief. We make our way inside, shutting the door behind us, and Eddie sits on a crate on the floor. I take the other bag from Steve and make my way over to Eddie.
