As much grammatically and morally incorrect this movie title is - it is entirely justified. But only in this movie's case.
Do Revenge is a beautiful movie with teenagers, drugs, humor, drama, and lots of revenge. Sometimes it feels like everyone is taking revenge on everyone else. But essentially, the movie revolves around these two teenagers, who are definitely not a little psychopathic. They are both hurt by people in their lives and are left traumatized and destroyed. So they form a pact and execute revenge on each other's enemies.
The film has Maya Hawke playing a very relatable lesbian, who is also one of the main reasons why I watched this movie so soon in the first place, instead of procrastinating on it. All of the cast members are beautiful and by the end of the film, I was left feeling ugly.
Anyway, the movie is fun and twisty in the most cool way. There is a wonderful chemistry between Maya Hawke and Camila Mendes which makes it more enjoyable. They are friendship goals minus all the toxicity.
You would believe that you have the movie figured out but this movie was surprising, satisfying and incredibly hilarious.
I would recommend this movie for a fun, no commitment kind of watch.
