Before I jump into how I didn't want to watch this series because I thought it was the highest level of hetero - let me talk about AwesomenessTV which I'm sure most of you should be familiar with. Remember that time when Fifth Harmony were getting big and they would do these takeovers on AwesomenessTV. I absolutely loved those videos mostly because the girls looked so relatable and down to earth in them. Also, those videos were all fun and entertaining. Anyway, this entire passage was for AwesomenessTV only because XO, Kitty is one of their productions, so you should expect some craziness and corniness. Mostly all of the words with the ness added to it, if I'm being honest.

This series was just more, more, and more. You would think that the show wouldn't throw another curveball at you, and then something more absurd but predictable would happen. The show is about our girl Kitty, who is a character from the movie franchise(?) To all the boys I've loved Before. I have never watched that before so I went into this show knowing absolutely nothing about Kitty, just that she's going to a school named KISS and that sounds ominously queer(?). Anyway, Kitty has a long-distance boyfriend - boooo - and to be near the boy, Kitty applies for a scholarship at Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS). Bear with me, it gets better.

Our girl Kitty wants to surprise her boyfriend Dae, but gets a surprise of her own, and then things spiral from then on into a queer wormhole. The reason why this show is in this list is because one of the lead characters - Yuri (how gay is that name) - is a lesbian who has a girlfriend. And there's another reason which I won't talk about because I want you guys to watch the show and get a surprise of your own.

I swear, the show is enjoyable plus funny and its so unproblematic while showing so many things at the same time. Like, we have a gay bestfriend, a lesbian, a self-loving pretty boy, a korean who only speaks English with an absolutely thick Australian accent. Also, the problematic parents. Yep, that's a must. But you know what, despite piling up so many things into 10 episodes of a 25 minutes runtime each, the show is still good.

I thought it was going to be corny, and I was right, but it was also entertaining and I loved how the episodes were shorter than the typical hour or so long. I got to binge watch the entire season one and then start praying for a season 2 in one night lol.

Also, my boy Taecyeon from 2pm also had a cameo which was one of the highlights of the show for me lol. Anyway, the show is available on Netflix and I'll add the link to watch online down below. Hope you guys watch the show and enjoy just like I did!
