I'd recommend you all don't really judge the name of the show. Yes, there is a haunting, and yes it is horror. But then again, does anything at all stops us from watching anything with a lesbian storyline? The answer is No. Well, for me it is because I absolutely hate horror, but I watched this show and I loved each moment of it.
The Haunting of Bly Manor is a particular show, because I don't really watch horror shows and the ones I do rarely catch my attention for more than five minutes. I guess the horror turns me off instantly. But since this show also falls into the mystery genre, it just had me hooked and I stayed awake most of the night trying to figure out all those mysteries.
The show follows a narration done by a slightly old woman, who's telling some people a story. And this story follows a young woman called Dani. Dani gets a job at the Bly manor and she has her own demons to take care of. So, by far everyone's haunted, lol. Anyway, Dani's job title is of an Au Paire, which I still have no idea about.
I would highly recommend the show, even for those that aren't even interested with the lesbian storyline. Like, this show is top-tier. The story is just remarkable and the horror is bearable lol. I was just happy there was no blood or gore involved, or else, I'd have just watched most of it with a hand over me eyes.
