So, I know I've been awol lately but its just my mental health hasn't been in the best of places and I'm trying to deal with that. But lucky for me, when I'm depressed, anxious and being a literal insomniac for the entirety of my days and nights, I watch queer shows and movies. Not all of them, but some of them for sure. I've got an entire list going on and I'm slowly cutting things off of it.

And here's a show I'm sure most of you might enjoy, if not all. It's a Spanish tv series about a man called Oscar, who is two-timing is wife in simpler terms, and in difficult words - he's in love with two women at the same time. But the dude dies so calm down your rage, my dear lesbian readers. Turns out, the dude was living a double life with his lover and his wife. Ooh, that rhymed. Anyway, back to the point, the story follows Oscar but it also follows his wife - Alejandra - who is an architect [YES, ARCHITECTS RULE] and his lover - Veronica.

I thought the show was beautiful, the cinematography, the transitions, the dialogues. Everything was in harmony with one another, and everything went well too. The actors knew what they were doing and they were able to come off as human as possible. The show also had moments where the people bared themselves, emotionally, and ehem, physically. Yes, spoiler alert, n*de s*x scenes. I don't even know why I censored the words, you all know what I'm talking about.

The score for the show was also *chef's kiss*, like you all know what really gets me in terms of movie and shows by now. The story and the score. Music literally makes and breaks a scene, and the actors playing Veronica and Alejandra really played their roles well and the music made their emotional scenes bloom. They invoked a real sense of loss in me, and I don't even have a husband or a lover who was living a double life with me.

I think the show deserves great appreciation and love. It was sexy, it was smart, it was entertaining. I binge-watched it and I have no regrets. And neither will you if you go watch it now. Like, right now.

I don't really know if the show is on a streaming service or not which might be available to you all, but its on hdtoday. So, there's a link below to watch the two seasons.
