CHAPTER NINE: "I'M GETTING MARRIED "

KATHERINE'S POV.

"You can't really be serious right?" Hunter voice bellowed in my apartment as he stared at me I disbelief.

"You can't get married." He added.

"For once the idiot is right. You can't get married to Caspian Montgomery. He is Caspian Montgomery. I don't think I'm the only one who know what that means."  Carolina looked like she was explaining something to a toddler.

"I thought you guys said you'll support me no matter what?" I said in disappointment.

"And we will, unless you are making very terrible and dangerous decisions." Hunter said.

"This is insane." Carolina looked away from me and at the TV.

"What happened to your idea of love. To getting married to the person you love the most, to having all but leaving so simple." Hunter looked like he was trying his best to convince me.

"I still believe in love but this is different. I'm pregnant and I have zero love life and the only good thing that has finally happened to me can be santched away. I have to do this and I need your support." I pleaded looking at my best friends.

Carolina turned to me. The look in her eyes were soft and understanding. She stood up from her spot from the couch that sat adjacent to mine and came to sit near me.

"I'm I worried about you? Yes.
Do I think Caspian Montgomery is too dangerous for you? Yes, but -" she took my hand in hers.

"I also understand that you are trying to protect your kids. If you marry Caspian or not your children are going to be Montgomerys and willing to stay with them shows that you'll be a great mom. And I support you. Always."

Tears were already spilling out of my eyes at her words.

"Lina." I called between small sobs before pulling her into a hug.

When I heard small stiffles from her. I realized she was silently crying and my arms tighten around her.

"What would I do without you?"

"Let me see?" She pulled away as she pretended to be in a deep thought.

"Nothing, probably befriending a hobo or leaving the most boring life in the history of the universe. " She arrogantly said making me laugh.

I looked at Hunter. I could understand that he was worried about me and I was greatful. He was a good friend.

"You know I'll always support you Kathy " he said after some hesitation.

"You should probably be up to date on the activities in the upper class since you are going to be part of the crazy rich people in the upper class." Carolina advices.

Although I was from a upper class society I didn't know anything about what they do. I left that life as soon as I left for college and probably before that since I practically fought with mom to get transferred to a public school my first year into highschool. Of course with the support of my Dad.

Does this guy ever not wear a suit?

I wondered as I stared at the handsome man in front of me looking like a greek god in a black suit.

"I have a condition" I spoke up.

He looked at me looking sceptical.

"What is it?" He turned his full attention to me.

"If after I give birth to the kids and our marriage doesn't work out I get a divorce. I want nothing from you and we can share the custody." I stated.
