THIRD PERSON'S POV.

Fredward had known. From the moment caspian walked in and saw his crying wife hugging him and knew about the suicide save, Fredward had known that his brother wouldn't just believe the happy coincidence that Katherine was happy about and likely thought was fate.
His brother was not just one to leave things. His brother is one to see through them but he won't leave things, not until he completely understood them.

"What do you want me to say?' Fredward could feel the frustration sink deeper into his chest. He looked at Caspian with a hard look on his face, of course not in an attempt to intimidate him. That was impossible but it was to build walls around his heart.

"I don't want you to say anything. And I don't need you to." Caspian's face was completely clear of any emotions. "I have my answer." Caspian painfully did.

"But I do have a question." Caspian lean towards in his seat and resting his elbow atop his desk. Fredward tried to fight the urge not to shrink backwards but he couldn't help it. He tried to avoid his brother's gaze but he just got pulled in further.

"Why didn't you approach her?"

Fredward knew the answer to that question well, but he was also aware that answering that question would open doors to his head, his heart, his mind and Fredward doesn't want Caspian anywhere near any of them. His brother could make people do his will enough, including him.

Fredward had met Katherine three months after that night. He had an appointment with his therapist and across the large lobby-it wasn't filled with people, just few lurking here and there. No one paying attention to the other- There she was among them. She was dressed in a big army green colored jacket twice her size. Her legs was clad in a black skinny jeans and she had a black canvas on. Her short hair was let down grazing her cheeks. She had her hand buried in her pocket and a had huge smile on her face. A smile the reminded him of that night. But this time, she didn't have tears in her eyes and her smile wasn't sad. They reached her eyes and Fredward was sure that if he moved closer he would hear her little laughs.

God she was just a kid! Fredward shook his head. He had hated the effect she had on him. She was just a stupid teenager and he was a man. A grown twenty years adult. But he couldn't help but wonder what would happen if he went over to talk to her, not even talk to her but just show his face. What would her reaction be? He had wondered.

Then he looked down at himself. The expensive designer clothes he wore did nothing to hide what a mess he still was. He hadn't yet cut his hair and he had ran his finger through them so many times because of how nervous he was about going to see a therapist. He looked down at his hands to see his fingers raw and red from bitting them so hard and he was sure there were bags under her eyes. He was going to scare her away if he went any closer. So he just stood there and watched the girl who saved his life, the girl that had hunted his dreams over and over again from afar

Then the voice of Yuvraj, his brother's assistant- then he was just a new worker, who was given the duty to babysit him- had pulled him of his daze. And that day, he had walked away from her and he had promised himself that when he finally showed himself to her, he would be what she had wanted.

He would give himself a second chance like she had pleaded him to. He would build himself back up and be a man he would be proud of. A man she would be proud of. And she would know that she hadn't made a mistake believing in him that night.

And his mind was more made up when he had fished out information why she was there. He had discovered that she was facing trauma because of an incident that happened to her. His incident.

She couldn't forget about him and couldn't help but worry about him and he knew that he was going to work hard to be better to be strong and be a man she would be greatful for.
