THIRD PERSON'S POV.

Carolina was already aware that Caspian was heading over because a busy body had tipped her off. The busy body being the man who has found a way to get under her skin and make her restless.
So after a little minutes over an hour when the door bell rang, Carolina was not surprised and she was already expecting.

Carolina left the sitting room where she and Katherine were immersed in watching old episodes of spongebob squarepants.

"I'll tell you this is a bad time but I know you'll do what you want anyway, so why bother?" Carolina said immediately she opened the door for Caspian.

Sjey looked at the grim faced man dressed in a proper black suit, his hair looked like he had ran through it with his fingers but all the tendrils still felt in their perfect places. But Carolina noticed something unusual about him. Caspian was always a man who carried around the aura and air of confidence and sophistication but looking at him now, Carolina couldn't help but wonder if he looked a bit... nervous. She shrugged it off and pegged it as watching way too many Plankton and squidward.

But Carolina couldn't help but notice the bags in his hand. They were from their shop. Caspian walked past her into the sitting room so she didn't bother telling him Katherine was in the sitting room.

Carolina looked down at the phone in her hand as it dinnged alive notifying her of a message.

Want to go for coffee?

Usually Carolina would reply a resounding no but she also didn't want to be here at that moment. Hunter had left for something urgent and had promised to be back later. Carolina had nothing doing, so she decided she'll keep herself amused with the idiot that keeps bothering her.

I'll see you in five.

She decided against telling Katherine she was heading out. Carolina knew that Caspian was in there now and she wanted to give them space. She had a feeling that she was in good hands with Caspian. Carolina could not stop the certainty in her heart that Katherine meant more to Caspian than both of them could even notice... Carolina wasn't sure. It was just her intuition but that's just the thing about Carolina Rodriguez, her intuition is rarely wrong.

Awesome. Can't wait to see you.

A reply came back. She should have decided against going as soon as she saw the message and press down the fluttery feeling in her stomach but instead a smile took it's place on her lips and she headed out of her apartment with nothing but a blue baggy shirt and dark blue shorts and her raven black hair held up into a pony tail.

*****

Katherine heard the door close and she didn't hear any footsteps so she knew that Carolina had left her alone with the man who was now standing in front of her.

She would rather not see him now, not a few hours after she had admitted her insecurities and acknowledged her feelings for her own husband...again.

She looked down at the bags he was holding. She recognized the logo on he sky blue colored carton paper bag. It's the same they used to package their desserts. It had taken she and Carolina months to decide on the color and material of the bag and they had even argued several times on the design but it was all worth it as they had come out with what she and Carolina pegged a master piece.

"Are you going to keep standing there staring at me? Or have you come to ban me from watching TV?" Katherine glared at him.

"I deserve that." Caspian walked towards her and Katherine shifted in her seat, pressing her self to the back of the couch and pressing the throw pillow to her front like some sort of shield.
